As millit says get yourself a collie...proper b*****ds,they make hell of a din and bite aswell. i used to keep a lot of good.. naa.. extremely good chicken and i was ok till a bunch of no good b*****ds set up camp near by,they pesterd the life outa me, i did everything possible to deter them but they nailed me 3 times. so i bought a neo/cross a hell of a brute which would bite for fun....they tied the b*****d up (like a hangman) and stole again,how the fook they got a noose around his neck ill never know. imo the best guard dog is a shy biter....

tell you the truth kev it wernt that hard a shot, only about 20ft at most. it was bitterly cold today so i recon most of em must have been in their dreys.last year i pushed 6 out of one drey which surprised me.

Hi all , Went for a stroll round a local wood today looking for squirrels, now this wood was showing 20 + each time i visited last month but today only produced one !! as you can probably see he was only small which makes me wonder ..do they breed all year ?.

pip, ive only shot two rabbits with it and both had mixy (didnt take pics) been too busy myself to get out but i have rest of week off so i might venture out . Hey gafer, give it a go it can be quiet productive, our local beck is flooded at the mo and most birds roost in the hawthorn which over hangs it, when the water runs off i can bag quite a few walking in the water under the trees. .

Everything has its place..rubbish put in the bin not left hanging about, cups in the sink have to be washed, dryed and put away, hoovering and tidying as soon as shes gone out to work, front door, side door, kitchen window then patio doors all checked in that order at least 3 times before bed.my wife puts up with it now but its cause many a argument...

I feed wheat ,sunflower + niger to the birds and get most kinds feeding daily but as soon as i put out the"fat balls" in rush the sheps (starlings), i dont mind really because i think they are a very beautiful bird and the tits Clear up the bits left over.
