    well done-cant beat mooching along the river banks for mink-in my eyes a good test for a dog-used to catch quite a few in traps up my way but aint as much about now as we have otters and they seem to move the mink on-used to take my lurcher to work with me when pulling cables for b.t. great nites.atb

    i have found with terriers unless they have been broken at a very young age-8wks-6months-they can never be trusted 100%-jmo-never had a problem with any lurcher they just seem to know the score. atb

    the dog in pics is 12 and had his last dig on a call out start of summer-accounted for a vixen and 4 cubs-not my cup of tea before the trolls start but got to keep people happy if you want to keep your permission-the dog in the pics never really got that badly marked as he would always get a good grip and throttle the fuckers-never dug alot out to let run with him as he got the knack and enjoyed the taste of old raynard atb

    dont rate harkila-paid 200+ for boots and a season digging and doing my thing and they split both sides on the front and i can put my little finger down the gap on the moulded toecap-f*****g shite-i use berghaus goretex water proofs if its pissing it down-think i paid notes for them-anyone know of a good pair of boots that can take the abuse of digging,stay dry when wearing waterproofs and not weigh a f*****g ton when you walk a ploughed field?atb

    growing up my family always had dogs and that-dad keep terriers,pointers for the birds and a lurcher or 2-would nag and kick off to go along and thats where it came from-the best days of my childhood and my memories are all to do do with hunting,fishing,shooting and hopefully the way my 2 kids will go-my son is animal mad and i take him out mooching all the time and hes neally 3-all he talks about is foxes and catching rabbits with the ferrets-get some strange looks when i pick him up from school from his teachers-lol-like i tell them-he is learning about life and death and i couldnt give a f*
