Wish so bad that I could make it, but the cost of this weekend plus the cost of buying a suit for the wedding and then the wedding it self. Sorry to miss it but only have a very shallow pot to rob. So have a great time and be good to Si.

You will be ok unless you are using oak that is touching any steel because they both react.

Permission Papers & Waver of Liability
porkycrook replied to davyt63's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Used these papers, printed off 30 copies I thought I would start off with a small mail shot. Well printed them off and put in envelopes and spent a couple of hours driving around the local countryside finding properties that I thought may need help. That was two months ago and I have not had a single reply. Although the bloke three doors away is happy he has never had so much permissions his name is Billy Boggs. -
I was on my main permission the other week and part of it next to a guard-house. Well the guards have put a bird table up along with some hanging feeders, these are meant for the little birds including peckers. Well because the guards put feed not only on the tables but drop some on the floor, which have enticed both tree rats and ground rats (which is where I come in). Well I was sat waiting for a rat to make an appearance when in a heart-beat every sparrow, tit, finch and woodpecker had disappeared. This thing came into the area so fast and landed onto the bird table leg, it was the far si

Sorry 72liner as you will see I have had my NS50 for over a year and what I was saying was what I had to choose from. If your search brought you to a different conclusion explain your thought process. Then the original request has two different thought process to view. For me I choose the NS50 and that was my choice and I explained why, so instead of slagging me off put your own points across. Regards Roger Mister Gain the reason why I never considered the Nite Eye was for the simple reason that when I was going through the search for a night vision for me, the Nite Eye was not fully

Well daytyper I have the NiteSite NS50 for over a year now and In that time the only problem I have had was the switch on top of the screen (illuminator switch) went all floppy. Contacted NiteSite over problem and was told to repack the faulty bit and return, well they must of got the bit and got onto repairing it straightaway because I was without the unit for two days. So as the man on the telly says "service service service". I was going through what you are now, I looked at the NiteHunter because at the time VerminHunterTV (Si and Davy are now very special friends)were using them i

I have noticed lately, and believe me I go through a lot of posts as I don't work. There has been a lot of mud-slinging recently. I joined this forum along with a few more gun forums to not only speak with like minded people about our hobby. I would ask for if you have a question or problem with a particular member, that goes away from the original post. Thank you and regards Roger
-
All this from a new member asking a question for help, if this doesn't drive new members away I don't know what will. Lewtaylor not every question will end like this.

Pinkfoot the first negative post was yours "If some thing is not quit wright the things they are testing i just wish they would tell you, we the shooters are spending our hard earned cash on these things so i think we deserve the truth because it is to late once you have got them". From there on the mud has been thrown and then people have replied.

If people spent a little time readin

Ghee thank you Brian aka Bunnyman it is a nice surprise to have someone agree with my postings. Following on from my earlier post. The NiteSite unit is made to fix on to the scope in a particular way, with the kit that NiteSite supply. Well your first choice is where on the scope, do you mount it forward or behind the scopes turrets. NiteSite leave that to the operator. Everybody from the outset has had ideas on how to personalize the kit for them, this is no different to Si and Davy. Now I own a NiteSite NS50 and from day one I have not been happy with the shooting position, but could no

What the F**k how has this thread gone from one of our own a shooter asking for help, as a new NiteSite owner. At the start we as forum members started giving help, with one member asking "is that why Si did this" then another putting his point by saying "if they knew this was a problem why sell". From there on it has fallen into a mud slinging contest. Sure Si and Davy are sponsored by NiteSite and with that they get some privilege from the company. The company recognise that they both know what they are talking about and have some very impressive viewing numbers, so for the small outlay

It was a great weekend even for us watchers, I'm the video operator when there is no commentary that's me. -
Oh Bless you! You've been so very kind to me. Is there something I can do/give to you or to pay your kindness forward? All I have done I have done without a desire for payment in any form or fashion. Your friend Roger

Beech Stock Refinishing
porkycrook replied to Stevie76's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Steve I don't know any suppliers near you but if you can find a supplier of "General Finishes" near you, the only reason I say this company is it is one that I use. No Steve I have a change of mind. PM me your address and I will send you a gel stain for you to try, I would suggest you try this behind butt pad first. When you finish with it send it back to me please. Cheers Roger -
Wishing you a happy birthday mate have a good time.

Steve I have also gone the way of the lighter batteries from China having bought two for my one NS50, I am going to copy you with battery placement because I have been keeping it I my jacket pocket. I have got my wife looking out for elasticated Velcro, so I can have it mounted to the side of my stock. It will be interesting to see how much Nite-Site want for a battery that we know costs £25, my guess is they will want £.

Whats Happened To Friend Buster??
porkycrook replied to Tron's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Tron i am back up and running so if you want, i will be your friend lol. Sorry to read that you have been poorly, i hope it is nothing serious and you are fully recovered. As for "What happened to Buster" he had posted here that he was getting pee'd off with all the backbiting and snide remarks and he wanted to be removed. Gone but not forgotten. My heart strings were tugged the other week Ron. As you know i had computer problems a wee while ago, well after the first computer decided enough was enough and fell on it's own sword so to speak.
