  1. Mel the size would need to be a minimum of 42" long by 10" wide and with some pockets more the better as the wife says . I have gone through a "cheap crap" drag-bag in just under 3 months and in that time i have had to do running repairs to it sewing on velcro and buckles that weren't sewn right to begin with. If you have got one that you think will do please send me a PM with price and how to pay you. Many Thanks Roger
  2. Can anyone recommend a good gun bag for my Air Arms 410 with scope. The one i have at the moment offer as much support as a plastic carrier bag. I would like a well padded and with a stiffness to it and a few pockets.
  3. Is it your intention to refinish the stock? if so then you should be able to sand the clue line andit might hide alot of what you can see in photo's. If you restain the stock then i would wait to see how well you have managed to hide the joint, if it is nice hidden repair then stain the stock in uniform coats. If the glue-line is not hidden that well then i would use a cheap childrens paintbrush to stain just the glue-line until you think that you have hidden it. Good luck and keep us up-dated.
  4. Have you got a heat gun? if so you might be able to warm the glue joint enough to break free.
  5. If you want to send the butt parts to me and i will glue it up correctly with proper wood glue.
  6. What wood glue did you use? If you had of used titebond, they do a titebond 2 for dark woods. Another route you could of followed was using Cascamite which is a resin which you could of tinted with brown pigment.
  7. As long as its not the same one i'm watching because we don't want to be bidding on the same item.
  8. Check out E-Bay for diving tanks there are quite a few on there and at reasonable price, but might mean you have to buy air gun adaptor.
  9. I'm trying to wrestle the car from the wife. Si please change your photo, you must have one where you are smiling.
  10. Nah nah nah I'm far to clever to fall for such an obvious plot, we are going to Old Down Pursuits. Then when you have got us all there you will cancel the compitition and while i have got you all here with nothing to do, we may aswell go and help Davy pack up for his impending move. I'm not falling for that OOOhhhh Nooo
  11. The closest thing to this that i have had was on my new permission i managed to shoot two big rabbits that was sat about 4ft from each other, i shot the first and he didn't twitch. While that was going on the second rabbit didn't move at all, now was it down to the first one not twitching?. The only thing like this to happen was i had put up a magpie decoy then after a little the first magpie flew in and landed on a branch (27 yards away) so i dispatched him. And what seemed like as fast as i watched him fall to make sure he was dispatched the second one flew in and landed on the same bran
  12. Dave. For me the first link you put up worked but the second one doesn't. I like the sticks but before i spent out on i would want to see either the sticks or the specification of the sticks. ATVB Roger
  13. Are there any measurements that i need too know of, ie what is the lowest it can be.
  14. So Si i will put the one you asked me too make for you on the bonfire huff.
  15. If the stock has been repaired already and the glue is holding good, then i would say leave the glue joint alone and just sandpaper the join.
  16. The video was very jumpy in places, you could also do with a neck mick. For first video good start.
  17. Skot if you still live with mum & dad in their house go to the cupboard under the stairs, climb in and get them to lock the door. Then stay in there until you forget those silly ideas.
  18. I pick up my range-finder, read the figure. Then with what ever that distance demands, cock the gun and pull trigger. As Alexander says "SIMPLES".
