If pumping up all the tine wouldnt bother you then look at the bsa ultra. Only drawback is low shot count
Could maybe find a l/h s410k from air arms there a great rifle
Or save more and get a hw100 .. really amazing rifles.
Make sure it holds air and has no leaks etc. Try a few shots if you can to make sure the accuracy and power is right. And that the magazine works as it should. And the bolt or sidelever works properly.
And when my brand new hw100kt went over the limit within about a month of me having it I took it back into the shop and asked them to send it off to hw to get powered down.
he gave me a right funny look and said that he was surprised that I wanted it lowering!
but they sent it off and it came back at a steady 11.5 bit higher than I wanted but better than the 12.7 it was doing
and they didn't charge me
im surprised they checked it before they was going to buy it off you.?
Everytime I trade guns in at my gunshop they just give it a quick once over and make sure it cocks and shoots and that's it. they don't test them in my local gunshops. probably not bothered.. I doubt they will do anything to them anyway, just stick them straight on the display rack until someone comes to buy them!
Cheers Daz mate
your right lads they are cracking rifles.
At first I was going to grab the 98. but that went out Thursday, so then I thought hmmm 97?? but then I thought Naaah, its got to be the 100 this morning.. that's what I got it for, hunting
Ayup lads! Usual story when I work nights.. get home not tired so a mooch is in order!
Needed to go shooting as I hadn't been since Thursday night when I got that pigeon with the 98 due to been a pussy and feeling sh1t and run-down with a bit of man flu.
On the walk home there was a lovely chill to the air with a very slight breeze blowing and only the second frost I have seen so far this 'Winter' not wasting much time I was changed into my hunting gear and the rifle was ready in the bag and a few bits and bats in my pockets and off I goes!
A lovely mooch on a sunny morning resulted
I use Ballistol
When i get in from shooting for example if its cold, i will give a rag a quick spray with ballistol and give the rifle a quick dry if its wet, then a quick rub down with the ballistol rag.. then i leave it for 30min-1hr to warm to room temperature.. then put the scope caps on and then wipe the entire gun down thouroughly with the rag after spraying more ballistol onto the rag. Do the metal parts first barrel air cylinder action underlever etc then i go over the stock and triggerguard and lastly a quick wipe over the scope aswel.
This keeps my guns in tip top condition le
Im feeling a bit better now bigmac think il go out tonight with the hw100 and make a night out of it. Illuminated reticle makes shooting pigeon silhouettes a bit easier
I BETTER get a few lol
Bloody hell mate you sound traumatised!!
Might sound cold and obviously i dont want animals suffering.. but shit happens! Try not to take it too bad.
Inever used to shoot in the wind for this same reason.. but after a bit of target practice in the wind im starting to get to grips with how it affects my pellets.
I wont take a shot unless im 100% sure its going to hit where i want it to.
from my own experience walshie I have shot 4 mallard ducks in the brain and 4/4 have all just dropped on the spot! with various .177 and .22 sub12 ftlb air rifles
