  1. What kind of calibre do they use to take out a 1000 pound grizzly. I watched joe Rogan podcast which showed a grizzly walking off with a moose in his mouth as if it was just a fish.??? I'd imagine a .270 bullet would just tickle them unless there was a perfect heart shot and certainly you would be dead either way by the time you wait for it to take effect. Somebody posted a photo on here last year and he was standing beside a stuffed grizzly that must of been 12 feet tall.
  2. The fact it smokes is putting me off. Nice looking job though. I bet it's heavy.
  3. Whenever you feel up to it stick up a photo or 2 of her in her prime. It will ease the pain remembering some of the past exploits ?
  4. When you say the lakes is that blessington? I built 2 houses up there last year ( one above the boathouse at bridge in blessington) overlooking lakes and was surprised there was very few fishing it. I believe when the pike are spawning together it's a sight to see the amount of them and the size. I found a Dead Sea gull with a pike lure in its mouth.??

    No Snip!

For 31 million ya can cut mine off at the butt.??
  6. I've heard stories of top trialling men not registering pups until the following season so they could enter older dogs in puppy trials and win. I'd say the truth been known then very few dogs have 100% genuine papers all the way back in their ancestry. From bitchs too old to register pups to good dogs been used as stud that never had papers. A lot of paper swapping goes on. I seen a lad selling registered springers that had terriers ears. Very obvious but they still found buyers.
  7. Sorry to hear buddy. I knew when I spoke to you Saturday that something was wrong with her but it's sad to hear that. What has to be done won't be easy but you are better to do it yourself because you will have question marks over yourself any other way. No vet means no stress on her so she won't know a thing about it. Not an easy thing but has to be done.
  8. Well that's the thing! All 5 pups had no dog aggression and there wasn't any other Wheaton around that worked. There is plenty of wheatons about very few actually work. I didn't have a choice of 10 different dogs that do the job. Show me somebody that does? Like most bulls walking around with a 60 pound dog on a chain with your tracksuit tooked into white socks and runners doesn't appeal to me.I seen the dog work so got what I was looking for.
  9. That's his opinion on rest of thread foooked.???
  10. I couldn't be sure but 90 percent of time the greyhound is kept on the dam side. Maybe they can throw too cobby if you go the other way and lose speed. It can surprise you at times the throw back. For example the pure Wheaton I used to sire my full greyhound bitch was a dirty tramp and an out an out dog killer. He has killed more than 3 and sneaky as fcuk. He wouldn't show aggression instead the sneaky Cnut would wag his tail walk up behind and then nail them on back of the head and kill them. The pup I kept is showing no dog aggression but is bigger and stronger than his father but will still
  11. Bug cars is that a new species or should your predictive text say big cats.
  12. I've a first cross wheaten greyhound that I bred myself. The Wheaten was 48 pound strong dog with a good head and the greyhound was on the small side at 24 inchs. The dog pup i kept is 60 pound and about 23 Inchs. Like sandymere said they don't variate much on first cross. If you mix a couple of other breeds in then it can escalate. I'm not a lurcher expert by any means but that's how it turned out for me with a pretty even litter. Turned out perfect for what I need but been honest the dog will always be injury free but if you wanted him to run faster stuff he would lack in gears. I just run
  13. Too be fair you aren't judgemental either way and I'm not either but who knows what that guy was reaching for outside the footage. I distinctly heard him say give me that gun. Maybe he was talking to his brother or wife or maybe the hillbillys but I can't be sure and neither can anybody else. After that it's just opinions and not facts.
  14. They should stick a DNA test on prince harry when the vet calls while he is available 2 birds with the one stone.??
  15. Ha ha I can picture you in a threesome with them
  16. This fcuker if he was taking your chickens would solve the air gun debate if .177 or .22 has the best stopping power.
  17. Thanks but I'm glad the sea is there and I'm not saying you are bad but that isn't always the case . I don't have a security system so hopefully my kids can sleep safe but if somebody is crawling around my property I won't go out and tap them on the shoulder to ask if they have criminal intent. If it's 3am then it sure as shit isn't the postman so my intentions would be different than if someone was in my yard at 3 pm
  18. Your from that old generation that used to get horny watching Cagney and Lacey ( pervert) ??? enjoy the clip.
  19. Before he was shot he said give me that gun? Was he talking to his brother or hillbillys?
  20. If you support brexit,Tommy Robinson and hate muslims and immigration then it will automatically be fixed. I have to work in reverse. I'm just into hunting so I have to work them in line the opposite way.???
  21. I agree with your point greyman but if i seen your creepy head evading capture in my yard setting up cameras where my woman and kids are playing then you my friend would not be looking at grease dripping from a preppy to keep your survival skills alive. I would prefer a harmless preppy warrior knocking my door looking for a tin of beans than a creep sneaky Cnut that admits to been caught up with the law looking for a fcuking Puma. You are the weirdo in that case.
  22. Maybe you can fill in the blanks dogmandont but I'm far more interested now in the fox that's barking near my house only there isn't any wind when weather gave a storm. Number 5 which got him a farm a bungalow and a butcher shop. They had 5000 on one of his races at 6 to 1. Not bad 30,000 in 1983. He bought a German Shepard to protect kennels but I can't remember but I think he had a bad leg ( or lost one) and died not long after going to stud. I forget if it was gangerine or cancer but I remember been a kid and seen that dog and a few years later when the Shepard was still around I made it in
  23. Not sticking his name on here but again I don't know greyhounds so I can't be sure but I built kennels for him and he did have 1000 winners it was in something like he said was 8 years which if he was stretching the odds it was probably 12 year. I don't know but he does have 1000 and when I seen him walking them he would be back in a jiffy. Unconnected I also have an uncle (married my fathers sister) that had a good dog that done well in Irish and English derby in early 1980,s Debbycott Lad was his name. After that I don't know fcuk all. They all look spindle legged Cnuts to me unless you add
  24. I spoke to a greyhound trainer and he told me he didn't have a mill and rarely ever even galloped a dog. Just a 100 yard walk to empty and then back in the kennel. He put them in a big puppy paddock and when they came of age he entered them in races 3 times a week if the board allowed him and he said that was enough running for a sprinter. The other trainers complained how he was allowed by the board to over race a dog every season but like he said he didn't over gallop them or over walk them and had over 1000 winners and that was in 2014. God knows how many he has now. Maybe he knew somebody
