  3. I can only echo what ghilllies has already said spot on advise there to become a natural shooter ... plastic toy soldiers were my favoured plinking thing when I was a kid as said I would put them out every where up trees and allsorts you will only learn so much from range shooting sadly its nothing like being in the field where opportunity seldom present its self in straight 5 yrd stages . atb kanny
  4. try another trusted scope of one of your other guns first just to rule a scope fault out ... if its still the same then as said get sent back .

  8. for my first time round shooting airguns it was always springers that's all there pretty much was. I started shooting around the age of 9 with a relum tornado and finished shooting in my 20s with a fantastic tyrolean stocked hw77k at this point I feel I had pretty much mastered the airgun if I say so my self I was fecking good with that 77 but then my intrests changed to dogs so I packed up the shooting .im now 40 the dogs have gone and have been back in the shooting a couple of years and now on my 3rd pcp. I have yet to reach the level I did with the 77k that being said my latest rifle the r
  9. mine was a full length mk1 superb gun it never let me down once the only criticism would be the weight the mk1 was a bit of a lump. atb kanny

  11. nice going cant fault the old 77 wish I still had mine ..... you did well to get out its tipping it down here.... I sat watching two cubs ragging a rabbit skin for a good half hour last night not 40yrd away... looking at them you wouldn't believe they could be such a nuisance .... all arable around me so there not a problem in fact if there eating rabbits then that's a few less rabbits on the crop but chicken killer must die I agree...... good luck
  12. I liked that cheers!
  13. Thanks for the informative post bud but with all that said I feel the biggest problem was the fact that it doesn't have a clear lens its more opaque.... when I asked the guy why this was he told me it was so the light from the diode was more evenly spread throughout the beam removing hot and cold spots like you get with the cheaper lasers.....as im only using a air rifle a 100m is more than enough for spotting rabbits killing ranges are more like 40m downwards. kanny
  14. feinwerkbau sport perhaps I had one back in the day nice rifle could be a cracker with a bit of fine fettling. kanny

  20. simple bread done with a Small bread punch never fails to get em in my local water.
  21. well curiosity got the better of me so I decided to give it go and as 72line per says they give a grainy image but the worse thing was the light penetration it was very poor but as said above I contacted the guy who's happy to give a full no quibble refund on the laser and postage. ... good company but this one wasn't for me. kanny
  22. as the title says....can anybody recommend a half decent ir laser illuminator for under £100.... ive tried various cheep chinky lasers over the last couple of years some ok and some not so ok .... best so far is a cheep 300mw it gives me well over 100yrds but the down side is its a very dirty kind of light and the unit looks a tad ghetto.... just to add I will be using this with a sony hd handycam setup. kanny
  23. thinking of getting one of theses to use alongside my hd handycam setup anyone had any experience with them? http://odicforce.com/shop/article_OFL219/1W-(1000mW%2C--metres-range)-Professional--Portable-Infrared-(808nm)-Nightvision-Laser-Illuminator.html?sessid=ZtiuhmNx9vBDIPYxUVb5J0fPpgIg9yNkzqMEEUMlT3CbOTVOp9OxHGdMnKYQdF9E&shop_param=cid%3D42%26aid%3DOFL219%26
