    Aye well done tony, one of my perms has alot of squirrels on it and I always hit them with hit shots, even then sometimes they require a follow up shot to the noggin, hardy creatures!

    Technically the RFD had either had a theft or burglary depending on where the gun was left in the shop, or could be a member of dishonest staff which raises questions as to what sort of shop hires criminals? All these facts need bringing to the attention of the shop owner and then te them your going to your local police station. Any gun shop worth it's salt won't even let you get that far without offering you a new gun or refund at market value. Try that approach it may work wonders for you! Mawders

    Nah if I messed up I would have bought another tx in .177. German all the way my little ray of sarcasm. You'll see my 95 when it comes and you'll marvel at its perfection. But you cannot touch because if you do you may eat your own syrup and sell your blunderbuss in persuit of happiness. ;-)

    Mole each to their own, I actually like the cocking system on the ultra and would have one over the s200 any day. It's a marmite mechanism. I would urge anyone looking to buy one to not be put off by comments and go and try one. There's something very special about the ultra. If I bought another pcp I would get an ultra.

    I have heard that later models of hw had some quality issues with springs, I still rate them over air arms rifles but that might just be the fact most things you buy that are German they are built to last. Milegajo you should have kept the 97 and sold on that blunderbuss that is the tx lol, but you know this, I tell you enough when you make me use it!

    Si, Awesome video and shooting skills once again, you truly have an awesome rifle there, in fact why use anything else! Good to see the new guns from BSA, that lightning with the gas ram looks tidy! Cant wait to see the other two vids now. By the way what made you use H&N ftt pellets mate when it was doing well with the accupells? Phil

    Personally the max for me has been a 50 yard kill, normally go for 30 to 40 yard though as that's what I feel confident with. I have seen yard shots from some members on here. If you can hit the mark then the pellet still has enough knock down power.

    Si I spoke to tony at sfs yesterday as I wanted a couple of rifles sorted, he said he can do it but he has a back log as one of the gunsmiths left the firm, (he has a new trainee now though) so I've had to send them else where he also said your 97k will be the last stage 2 they do for a while as he dosnt have the time personally and the trainee isn't ready to do that yet...so just thought I'd let you know your a lucky sod!!! Atvb Jamie Aye mate I've got a feeling Tony is going to lose alot of business over the next few months, I ordered a new rifle and set up from tony 2 weeks

    Nice shoots mate, I do rate the 97k over the tx even though the tx is a mighty fine rifle.

    They have to be shock rated for use with an air rifle as the recoil of the spring will break a scope if it is not. A very good cheap ish scope is a niko sterling mount master which come in those sizes and are rated to be used on a spring airgun.
