I've always shot on 10x even though my scopes go to 12x. I think my original reasoning for this was because 10x makes the milldots accurate according to my hawke books that came with the scope!
I think if you change your mag whilst shooting it effects point of impact.
Agree with above posts but also consider it may not be the right rifle for you mate, some guns just work so well and others I can't get on with but others can. Go over the 1000 pellet mark and you will know mate. Such a shame if you don't get on with it, that's still the best beech stock I've seen!
I guess the point to this method might be you can quickly gut the rabbit once shot and hook em on a tree or gate whilst you continue your shoot safe in the knowledge there is only a small hole where the guts exited the body to cut down on fly contamination. Especially I'd said rabbit is going in the pot.
Yep totally agree, quality video right there, was good to see Si on the stalk after that Maggie for it to fly away, thought that was only me that happened to lol! Well done all 3 of you, really enjoyed it.
On one of my perms it's mostly squirrels, shoot those hardy b*****ds in the sweet spot and sometimes they are completely motionless but still breathing, If you didn't see the slight movement in the chest you would think its stone dead, they really can be little terminators!
No, but it seems the debates get more long winded and boring as the years go on.... Zzzzzzzz
The only fact that matters is that .177 is a calibre for women and gay men...
Ha ha ha milegajo syrup style!
Ha ha what rabbits, we didn't get any, that crack you heard was the wire fence you tried shooting through and as for that pigeon you nailed him bear grills style with your hands not the rifle lol! GO reckon your next purchase should be his survival kit, you'll have everything you need!
Or in your case, point, click, probably miss!
Nom Nom syrup. I've already proven my one handed pcp shooting technique, time to go back to a real mans air rifle.
Might be kits it might just be his rifle is majorly underpowered. Milegajo posted a vid on here before where he hit a rabbit in the head from about 30 odd yards for the rabbit to bowl over, get up and hop away with a headache, don't think it even penetrated it's head, turns out his rifle dropped to 3ft/lb so had even less at the target end!
He will never be happy mate, these pcp's he goes through he could just settle on a few decent springers and be happy! Ha ha. I'm taking him to rehab next week I'll let you all know how he gets on.
Nice read, I really like the look of the scorpion SE and when I shouldered a walnut stock version at a gun shop I was pleased with the weight and balance. I've heard from a few others they are accurate little rifles.
To be honest mate I've tried most of the big brands in springer and pcp and I always settle on the AA Diablo fields for grouping and power. Never tried the falcons though so let me know how they do mate. I could be wrong but you may find the AA pellets suit the prosport barrel better.
