What a strange thing to say then hey if you drop it off i'll have it if you're not arsed about it anymore, not saying i'll work any magic but it'll have a good chance. As for my fat goldfish, he's got thyroid issues

Jesus Christ you only got the dog a couple of days ago? And you only posted for advice yesterday!! And yet after one session where you failed to put the sound advice given into place, you've put the poor f****r to sleep already?? Just because you can't get it into your thick skull that you need to bond to a dog first before it will work for you doesn't mean a dog should suffer the consequences, if you were that adamant about getting rid you could have given him to me and i would have looked after and trained it until i found a good working home for him. Probably even kept the bugger for my

I hope by voting UKIP in things can change. But it all comes down to them having the bollocks to do anything proactive and drag this country out of the shite. Either way now there's going to be some kind of trouble. If UKIP say "get the trouble makers, doleys and extremists out" we'll have the tribes kicking off, soldiers killed, coppers killed, innocent bystanders killed, no doubt bombs planted, you name it it will happen. If they take to the streets then it will really kick off, they'll be rioting and butchering whites left right and centre....if the government won't roll the army out th

Aye chop chop Ant i had one hell of a knock on my rod (oo-er) on Sunday morning, nearly knocked the thing off the stand. Nothing took though, possibly a monster bass
-
Aye you need to stop hunting over him really, get him on the lead and just walk. You could sit in the garden, piss about with a toy or something and let him come towards you in his own time, when did you get him? He just hasn't warmed to you yet. I don't think shaking him by the scruff will have done you any favours like but each to their own.

List Of Estates
RubyTex replied to DazAllison1's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
thanks Dan. It's dire as it stands mate, absolutely terrible. Every sector of the industry is feeling it. I know i've said in the past there's no way i'd work for free, but it's got that desperate now if someone put me up, fed me, fed the dogs and had a kennel spare for them, i'd have to consider it. Mental. -
I've been out potting Nik and never been sick, touch wood!!! but i've never actually been on a charter rod fishing. Might have to look into a day out see how my stomach holds up

List Of Estates

Yep same...was looking into NC Gamekeeping at Elmwood college in Fife, sorted a placement out, went to look about student finance and found they don't offer anything for that course so in other words, i need to fund a year in Fife off my own back, plus tuition fees and the like....but since i'm currently unemployed that's impossible. Vicious circle! -
Aye i've been reading a lot of the boat catch reports out of Hartlepool, all decent sized cod but only into the single figures for mackerel....lots of bait fish about though, hopefully it explode into life soon never been out on a boat fishing Pointer, would you recommend?

Before you let any new dog off the lead you need to strike up a close knit bond with it. Get a long lead mate and don't let him off until you are fully confident he knows the length of the long lead is the furthest distance you want him to run to. As for the cowering i'm guessing he's had seven bells kicked out of him in the past?? Which could explain his reluctance to run anywhere near a person or recall in a hurry. You can always teach an old dog new tricks, but to move forward you need to win his trust first keep us informed.

Just been weeding and such like lately, potatoes sprouting up quite well, onions doing okay, rhubarb has slackened off though. Not sure why. Strawberries are nearing giving me fruit Garden table and chairs out POTATO! right in amongst my onions, thought i'd got all of last years but obviously not. And this little shite sat behind me 'watching' me weed, more like sun bathing!!!

Lol!! I'm sure 'bushing' is just a posh term for 'walking the dogs'

Catching them on the boats but only in small numbers, think one had 8 all day....fecking slow coming in this year

Despite his ginger haired, tight fisted, boiler tinkering, fox feeding, cat owning, skirt wearing, pheasant molesting, BOP loving exterior, Lab-tastic is a top man

They DO let jocks into England you know. theirs no wall there now Don't tell them that!!

Twit-twoo, Lab, twit-twoo
-
Yep!!!! Good luck with that one Lab when i was away a pair killed 150+ poults in one night, absolutely smashed 'em...the b*****ds soon flew away though.......... I thought Buzzards were more scavengers than active hunters? Suppose if they're hungry, just never seen one on the hunt before Goshawks do not hunt at nightaccipiters will hunt dusk and dawn like most predators, however don't be fooled into thinking that birds don't fly at night because 100% they can and do. A goshawk will kill, feed then rest up. there not like ferrets and cats that kill for pleasure as well as food. Another thin

Just been checking through and seen this little outburst, very strange obviously you seem to know your stuff regarding BOPs, but were you there with us, deep in the forestry of Southern Belgium? Did you witness the devastation with your own eyes...? No. You can't call someone 'plastic' because they dare have an opinion that you don't agree with, we had undertaken an extensive predator control scheme in the weeks prior to the birds arriving so the fox, stoat and stone marten population had taken a hammering and it is unlikely to be any of them, although you can't rule it out. We put the b

No mackerel showing here yet apparently, anywhere else?

Hahaha reminds me of my mate, he works for Notts Forest FC and they asked him to dress as their mascot for some charity race with mascots from all over the country. So he's doing alright, one shoe flies off but he keeps on going, head bobbling all over the shop....all of a sudden a lass in a cow suit (not sure what footy team that's from?!) sticks her leg out and boom, over he goes face down in the grass....f*****g pissed myself for weeks after. Such rivalry Edited to add - he was dressed as f***ing Robin Hood or something which made it all the more hilarious
