It's going to be interesting times for UKIP, will they be as successful without the cult of personality that built up around Farage? Is there a candidate within UKIP that is as dynamic and charismatic as him? He's a master at appealing to a certain section of the electorate and I wonder if anyone will be able to fill his shoes. I reckon Paul Nuttal will be persuaded to run, he's their best hope from what I can see. Even if he does look like Ade Edmondson

David Davis has been talking about making trade deals with individual EU countries... I don't think he really understands how this works? EU countries aren't allowed to make their own bilateral trade deals.....

Surprised there hasn't been a thread on this already considering 99% of folk on here vote UKIP You all lost interest since the referendum and Farage standing down? http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/688739/Ukip-leadership-election-how-contest-work-when-new-leader-elected-Nigel-Farage-replaced So who would you guys like to see become leader of UKIP? So far only Jonathon Arnett MEP has put his hat into the ring with Steven Woolfe MEP another likely contender. Can't say I really know much about either of them TBH. Surprised (and relieved ) Paul Nuttal isn't standing, I think he c

Labour under Corbyn matched the record high's in the local elections under Miliband Didn't they lose votes in Wales and Scotland though. They lost a couple of councillors in marginal areas where they were never likely to hold onto them but didn't lose control of any councils and matched Miliands share of the vote nationally I believe. Rhonnda was a labour stronghold and they lost that plus a fall in its share of votes, so whichever way you try to paint it he wasn't successful in Wales. And the feeling I get around here is it isn't going to get any better. That was for the Welsh

Labour under Corbyn matched the record high's in the local elections under Miliband The party is definitely in the biggest mess it's been in since the 80s but the fault lies with the backstabbing establishment MPs not Corbyn
-
Why do you assume that? Membership numbers, poll numbers and electoral successes have all improved under Corbyn

Types Of Guard Dogs For Ur Yard .ie. Kennells And House.
BGD replied to stonewall's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
why whats alapaha bulldog like , good or soft temp dog as regards guard dog, my brother had e/bulldog bitch and she was good little guard, she looked the part, and would growl by your legs, deff put you off going to his place lolHe's a bloody good guard dog probably the most intelligent dog I've had, he's my youngest best mate and would die for her but he's been plagued by ill health (especially of late) he's had entroipin from a pup and every year has had to have it rectified, he contracted tetanus at the age of 2 and we almost lost him and really hadn't recovered from that and of late it's -
Fair play to you pal you're obviously seriously dedicated to providing the best for your mutts, it's great to see Hi Dave, thank you. If I want the best out of him I have to put in the time and if necessary added expense. I've had an arguement with the wife last night because she wanted him as a pet but I have said he's a working dog. All our Springers were working dogs but great pets as well but it's funny how we are arguing over him as if he's a bloody child. It's all about balance. He's obviously got to be loved and cared for but he can also be trained to do his natural instincts. I'm lo

That's fecking gutting Any hope of insurance covering it? The c**ts want one of the saws taking to their hands No. The insurance have kopped out. No surprise there. As for cutting their hands off! I wouldn't waste the fuel or dirty the saw. I'm sure it's nothing a good dog couldn't handle! Ah well that will be his fault for parking facing East on a Thursday, should have known that invalidates his insurance Honestly hope your pal gets it sorted one way or the other, having your whole life turned upside down so some c**t can get his fix FFS

The ordinary people who now have more money in their pocket thanks to the increase in wages you mean? The whole economy benefits from more money in the pockets of ordinary folk. I mean if you've got an economic study showing the benefit of the increase in wages was completely offset by an increase in the price of consumer goods I'd be interested to see it but I don't think that's the case. I don't have any such study mate but that money is coming from somewhere and it won't be out of profits Oh no doubt pal but I'd still say overall it will put more money into folks pockets. The ra

Unite Policy Conference has just voted to support mandatory reselection for Labour MPs, this would mean all Labour MPs have to win a ballot in their local constituency before they can stand as the candidate. It was changed so establishment candidates could be parachuted into safe seats, the birth of the donkey in the red rosette... Hopefully now it's got the backing of the biggest trade union the NEC will vote for it's return

If a dog crate is the only option it's not the end of the world, sighthounds are lazy feckers about the house anyway so as long as they've been exercised well and a have a bone or such to keep them occupied it's no great cruelty to have them shut in for a few hours in the day especially if it's not every day of the week.

That's exactly what we're fighting to reverse pal, will it make Labour more electable? Feck knows but it's worth a go considering no one in the rest of party seems to have any ideas other than copy the Tories, why would anyone vote for a Labour party copying Tory policy when the Tories are so much better at being Tories? Even if Corbyn and his changes to the party don't lead to victory in a GE at least the public have been offered a real alternative to the Tories.

I think he's got more chance than the shower of shite in the PLP Honestly though my and others support for Corbyn isn't just about him leading us to some great socialist victory in a GE, it's about changing the internal workings of the party making it more democratic giving power back to the members and trying to undo the damage done by Kinnock, Blair and Brown. He can then lay the ground work for a younger more dynamic leftist leader to take over from him and who knows where they will lead the party. Oblivion springs to mind What are you basing your pessimism on? Labour have done
