    I had a lovely little time haha chasing fox with my beaglex , I run my lurcher on some real rough terrain but I’d not let them run on that shit ! I blame mushroom he tried to Starve me the one day was outrageous! And don’t get me started trying to order a McDonald’s in Spain and France

    I’m coming !! Not doing all the poxy driving this time either haha i think I had the only bushing dog with no gps so spent two days chasing that b*****d around on fox can’t expect dogs that spend there time hunting fox and deer to ignore them and starting hunting something totally different but was a good crack i just enjoyed the crack I must of been 21 at the time and still giggle at the two northerners haha

    You’ve got to judge on dog to dog basis , Iv had dogs keen catch and hunting at 12/14 months old and dogs later , same approach out from young watching and learning they enter when there ready but my arse does start to twitch if there’s no signs interest , dogs got to show me some form of interest before 2 , we all got different standards , I know boys with dogs I’d never own and there’s probably boys that would never own my dogs it is what it is no right or wrong way about it really

    Not the best fox dog Iv seen him a very good bitch I bred was gone 20 months before she did , on the Wednesday one run infront of her and she didn’t even chase it and on the Saturday she flew into one and never looked back funny thing dogs !

    Use to bother with a bloke that use to have pups out from 12 weeks mooching swore by it , soon as mine jabs are done mine come everywhere with me tbh don’t lamp them or anything so daytime hunting is there job nice to see pups 5/6 months old marking

    Same goes with stock breaking i don’t actually go out of my way to do it , there’s so many sheep here they just become part of the scenery and pups tend to pick up on older dogs not chasing , iv had the odd young dog not get back in the car at the end of a walk but tends to sort itself out

    My two here now , old bitch is a mates on loan as one mine died in his kennel a while ago and young bitch is from a mate , think she’s gone be a serious little terrier proper attitude for work but both great around the house and my 1 year old daughter , my last terriers though it’s been hell of a ride

    Both mine here have decent feet the ground they run on it’s well terrible rocks and all sorts the young pointer x hasn’t had a problem touch wood , the older bitch has run some seriously shit ground in her time and she broke a toe on a nice flat bit of mountain and still struggling with it nearly 8 weeks later
