  3. The biggest one is 12 week old pup killing a fox killing machine , Iv got a lurcher bitch here she’s not small and Iv a 9 week old pup , theres More chance of Jesus coming and wanking me off than that pup killing the lurcher in 3 weeks
  4. f**k them all saluki x bull x deerhound cross up the German wire haired pointer x can run for days , find them , kill them , mark them and bring them back but I think a lot of it comes down to how there brought up she spent 4/5 seasons with my older dog and when she retired she took over will do it single handed , just got a pup in , little bit Wheaton blood and rest collie bull grey can’t wait to see how she turns out
  5. I’m heading down , might bring my oldest daughter with me depending if she learns how to behave between now and then
  6. My cousin caught one 120lb something like that last year or year before was some battle on 10ft carp rod , took it on the drop or less he hadn’t put him rod down and it ripped off
  7. I remeber him ! Came to you abit older didn’t he these hill dogs need alot of time and experienced dogs around them
  8. My old bitch passed away before Xmas and she was a very good lamper to be fair and she was decent at ferreting aswell , but soon as that tracker went on and we was on the hills she knew the crack
  9. A lot of boys using hound x to great Success and they are very very good dogs , Iv seen some crackers , only problem if you do drop the hound blood in you become very limited what you can do with it , my bitch there goes lamping now and then and doesn’t hunt up also going out with bushers and knows to keep a eye on the little dogs
  10. It’s right on my door step it’s not for everyone but I love the hill work , it’s not great numbers but when there’s action it’s different level
  11. My bitch , pointer collie grey , she’s been a good animal for me , turning 8 in august she’s done quiet abit on her own aswell which I like to know mine can do it , had her at some serious distances , great around the house with the kids aswell

  13. Different around here mate , all hill work and mountains no one’s got permission farms don’t even own the land just grazing rights most I will just wave at you while they go passed on there quads
  14. Once again your talking point and slip , you wouldn’t walk the land I do buddy so you haven’t got a scooby doo what your talking about
  15. Iv had my dogs hunting over a mile away and either killing or marking , not all of us lamp and course much more to lurcher work than your simple mind can comprehend
  16. Different ways of hunting with lurcher require a gps , my lurchers never on a lead really only if Iv got to cross a road and sometimes just hold the collar and run haha
  17. I’m all good mate hope your all good I’m down this year for the comp got it all booked in ready it’s a good way to hunt it’s all I do now , waiting on a pup now only got one lurcher bitch left that’s 8 so time for a apprentice ,
  18. No saluki blood in the dogs down here doing what we do wonder why
  19. I know mate Iv been tempted but the way the dogs are in my house and two young kids everything just free roaming haha so a dog with bitches would be a liability
