Ferrets get lazy and seem to prefer kibble if given choice. Meat is obviously better but a pain in the summer

Was only thinking today pickups have gone down the pan. When I worked in forestry years ago the old hilux and mazda pickups and even a subaru were proper jobs. Pickups now a days are like 20 grand plus and look like cars. You could get more in back of an estate. Not that I could afford one back then or now lol. I had an old sherpa van lol

I don't have much experience well none of collies. But I had a nose on your tube and from what I see they need lots of exercise and mental activity training and stuff. Being a working dog that won't be an issue in years time. I find with mine all ready shes an active sod. Just put her in the crate for the night but she wide awake and would be up for a few miles lol. Even though we only did that a few hours ago

I was surprised to learn some one drove a field near by the other day. This big field is sectioned off with high tensile electric wire and they went through it all. There truck must been wrecked. Just not the way to do things. Low profile leave no sign and definitely do no damage. I remember being scared to death as a kid cause some idiot had left a gate open and fired up the farmer. Found my self in the middle of a field lamping away when the first I new was head light came on and engine revved up. Sneaky sod had snuck his landrover into the top of field. I was same Arry I can remember it now. Top floor class room with windows looking out over the fields toward home where my dogs and ferrets were waiting. Bloody torture being stuck in a religious education class. What an absolute waste of time that was. Most youngsters now a days are all bull crosses and facebook. They get off on the wrong foot. Yes I can see how they could be a pain. Mine has a high energy levels to say the least. It takes a lot to tire her even now. She is not a big fan of being in the run during the day but in fairness is relativity quiet. When I stop for grub I let her out and we do some thing even ten minutes training and then shes ok until the evening big walk. She is in a crate in house at night. I made sure there was nothing on it for her to reach but kept finding stuff in there some how. One evening watching tv out corner of my eye I saw this dogs leg reaching around the corner. I don't know how it works but if its down to votes or just peoples opinions on things we will never win any thing. I saw post on fb where one of the groups like basc were negotiating to make the bill workable and this is from a gundog point of view. Some woman said if your negotiating instead of knocking it back point blank you have all ready lost. She is bang on. Just watched it and skipped most of it what load tosh and what bunch of plonkers. I will say I don't get people sticking hard dogs in setts where they are inevitably going to get a pasting.
