    sorry for your loss, i lost my terrier 5 years ago come xmas eve and i still cant talk about him with out welling up. sp

    make the bedding box as small as you can, used to have a border bitch do the same i ended up making a new box with a fine mesh floor and no bedding so when she pissed it just went through into the run. i felt sorry for her in winter all the other dogs were snug in box's, but she got used to it in the end. atb sp

    Paddy, was he related to Di Fish of Ammanford who bred the Merle dog? i did'nt know that, all he said was he had a couple of dogs off directly off brian. i wish i had another like the bitch pup it a shame she pasted at a early age.

    only had 1 plummer it came to me via a man called phil fish of ammanford wales she died at the age of two on a dig, dispite what some people say about brian i enjoyed his books be it fact or fiction if it was'nt for them i would not have got in to field sports r.i.p brian p.

    vetasept or hibiscrub, they are same stuff but vetasept is half the price. dilute it 50/50 and bath him in it.

    a black youth who lived down the road from me had 1 he took it ratting and bushing good little bitch,push out no end of foxs for my old wheat x, we hunted an old railway bank 1 sunday morning and took 3 off it. she was a bizzy little bitch not the pretty ish thing she was blue ish rough coat.atb sp

    i dont know the size of mine mate but get the biggest you can find and yeah i suppose you could put a whippet in 1 with plenty bedding it should be ok . atb sp

    why dont you put the barrell on its side and leave the lid off with some bedding in it,it would be condensation free then,atb wf when i kept terriers all of them were in barrels on wood shavings never had a problem with condensation and in winter i used heat lamps so the hight of the barrel was just right , i had a border bitch a bit on the shy side and she would hide right at the back of the barrel where i couldnt reach her so thats why i stand them on end. atb sp. P.S i dont keep terriers no more but i wont get rid of them they are stored in the garage you never know i might get another o

    when i had terriers i kept them in barrels no problems at all, they are chew proof,rot proof,you can jet wash em and disenfect em . i dont keep terriers now but i wont get rid of them. atb sp
