Cheers Craig, It sometimes works as you know, I allways take the valve off then fill the the hose with water fit the fill valve and blast it through, hese lucky.he got away with it.

The latest type AA filling valves have a excellent filtration system that should pretty well garantee no further foreign matter getting on to the fill valve seat or the firing valve as well. The early type has no such filter built in and to make matters worse is held together by a unusual spring clip such is the tiny place to get at it means if you can get it off it gets destroyed doing so.and you cant get a clip to suit.! If you are really stuck I have a discarded one that holds pressure for a couple of days and you are wellcome to have it and a new bonded sealing washer as well. pm me you

Theres slightly more recoil with a .177 springer compared to a .22 due to the extra energy required to produce near 12 FPE levels. for my part I believe that having to use legal FPE then a .177 calibre is more forgiving on holdover on rangy targets.

Ime afraid not Elmer, the early male type fill valve cant be stripped and cleaned like the later type. If it dosent clear the problem as Buster has said with a blast then all you can do is replace it with a new one (Costs about £9.00) if I remember right or change both male and female parts to the later specs, the male part has a proper filtration filter that stops that problem

The Ultra is a much more complicated rifle to strip than the Logan. although I have repaired more Ultras than the Solo the Solo is very easy to make +12FPE. the Ultra though is much better if its the multishot model..... Its horses for courses at the end of the day.

I have a large safe if anyone is interested, its 6 feet tall X 24" square, locked by key and combination, (Put your own numbers in) will be moved easilly enough by a one ton tranny van or simular. easily moved by two fit guys. also has several internal shelves that can be moved up or down. cost over a grand new. £250.00 help given on loading. Its been a few years since I repaired that model gun, Its extremely unusual for the bolt assembly to stop working correctly. It sounds to me If it is a secondhand rifle that perhaps the previous owner has packed out the hammer spring to gain more power. by doing this it will stop the bolt from having enough travel to cock the trigger assembly prior to firing. check that the hammer spring hasnt had spacers inserted.

I put a few drops of 3 in 1 oil in my pellet tins I am not sure if lubing your pellets is a improvement or not I can still miss just the same!.

I have not responded to the opening post because most of the guys replies have been factual and well thought out. however why dosent the owner ask his fellow club members to try the rifle? personally I believe as asked by others that it could be parallax related. many scopes are adjusted for 100 yards POI.

I know some sites can recognise the IP address of scammers and block them automatically cant this be done on here? The Grahams are being a pain in the ass now. Just seen hese sold the imaginary Rowan trigger to a new member "Meer" Hope he reads all this and stops payment to the ****.

I think your right, Mawders, he is suposed to have a mate in Gloucester who sorted out the pikies who was ripping him off. then almost the same tale about the pikies and the pup but this time mrs pikie saved him, has a new AA400F the trigger return spring fell out?? but no worries he happens to have a new Rowan trigger that his mate gave him! now hese put the deposit down on a new Ultra but he cant pay for it yet as hese got to buy his Mrs a new car next week??
