My AA 410 has a weirauch moderator fitted and it is much quieter than the AArms one I have tried many others but the Weirauch one is best I believe the Twink mod is excellent as well.

Air Arms Pcp Lost Power
Tron replied to matty thud's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
It shouldnt blow air out if the bolt is forward and locked. You will probally find the bolt seal has been blown out or totally worn out for air loss to happen. -

I was hoping for a factual reply. No wonder hese left if paulos the moderater thinks his loss is a joke. How come paulos is a moderator? his response shows no respect to my question at all. no wonder Craig left. -

Weihrauch Hw77. Rust Removal Tips.
Tron replied to cooper999's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
DONT use a coin. one or two penny coins are copper coated steel.you could make any blued parts on your gun damaged by doing so. -
Sorry entered in wrong section.

Sorry Millet, but you cant have a AA410 Classic Carbine!! The AA Classic is a longer rifle than the Carbine!! The air cylinder on the Classic holds 216 CC of air......The AA 410 Carbine holds 156CC of air.....The Classic is a longer rifle by far.

No disrespect intended BUT! bit pointless having a camo scope and mounts then leaving the moderator all nice and shining for your quarry to clear out quick when that will shine out like a beakon.

Well done Dave you have just got the bargain of the year there There are many ways to tune HW springers you are fortunate that you live close to Tony Wall who does excellent work on guns like the HW range. I, in your position would get a stage one tune from Tony at Sandwell Sporting Supplies. I saw a young lady shooting one of the HW95K rifles at Penkridge Field target club last year and I was impressed by the very small recoil and firing signature of her gun. if you want to have a go at tuning yourself then there are quite a few DIY parts you can fit yourself from the various parts offered

NO! you allready have a superb set up there. Buttoning the piston wont really make any real differance to your rifles firing sequence and I dont for a minute think that stoning the sears of a HW Reckord trigger will be felt either. The Reckord trigger can be adjusted from new staight out of the box to a fraction of the ounce let off plus both first section travell can be dialled in/out to suit the shooter. For you to pay for some service at quite a cost that wouldnt make a nats nacker of difference is up to you,! My opinion? It would be a waste of time, plus your money.

Doh! if anyone wants to try one I have two spare in .177 one off a new Ultra, and one off a R10. £12.00 each posted.

Hiya Lew, the airstripper muzzle fitments are supposed to reduce air turbulance behind the pellet as it leaves the muzzle of the gun Speaking for myself I believe such add ons are just another "Must have" for people who think their gun will become pellet on pellet at 50 yards plus. If you look at some of the amazing shooting videos of some of the shooters who are members on here you will see non apear to have such gimmicks on their rifles. If you want to believe airstrippers work then go ahead and buy one, I think they are just a way of making money for the makers of such things.

If you think the AA400 is heavy then you probally have the Classic which gives three times the amount of shots than the Ultra puts out if you want a lighter rifle then the AA 400 carbine again gives twice the amount of shots than the Ultra. and weighs about the same as the Ultra!. The Pro's the AA400 is a very easy gun to strip/repair than the Ultra. The Ultra perhaps just the edge in acuracy. If your going for a multi shot then the Ultra is a better bet than the single shot AA 400.

Try googling gun dealers in Ballygowan N Ireland.

If you fit a shorter barrel on a pc rifle then the power will drop (FACT) you will then have to modify the gun to get it back to previous power level. by using more air. To do so means LESS shots per cylinder fill.

Bsa Ultra Swap For Rws Excalibre ?
Tron replied to Jonezy's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
The RWS rifle is much like the Webley PC the stock has two cut outs for the bolt to index into. A well made gun but has its weaknesses plus its not a carbine compared to a BSA Ultra its a long rifle. secondhand they ask silly prices for them.in my opinion I would stay clear of them but that is just my feelings about the gun -
Hrrm, You have got me there Bud, Normally on PC rifles most have a barrel support bracket on the end of the air cylinder ALA AA 400/410 and other makes rifles.Has your barrel support any free movement at all with the locking screw slackened off? I forget if the AA200 fill valve cover is a screw thread like the AA400/410/510. if so remove the fill valve cover and see if the barrel bracket ihen has movement! as advised before, a scope on a recoilless rifle is'nt subject to outside forces to alter POI unless it's been dropped or banged to cause such a problem. recheck again, then advise again. If its set up correctly it is a very good, accurate, gun. Extremely easy to adjust the power, up or down. bit thirsty on air but you will be pleased with it after shooting it.
