  6. Hang tight Bud, nothing yet has been passed either in Scotland or here. This country has been wrecked by membership of the EU. latest news in todays paper says from next year up to 28 million Rumanian and Bosnians will be able to come here to live and who is going to provide them with medical care, hospitals, schooling, dole money? Yep youve guessed it US SILLY BUGGERS. We can all thank new liemore tony b,liar, and brown for getting Britain into this mess, plus the many thousands of guardian reading PC loonies who have infilterated many Goverment offices and continue to ign
  7. Who was the chap who wrote about his tough guy mate from Gloucester who went along to get his pup off the pikeyies? I cant find the original story?
  8. Lets face it, the Goverment, the police, want any kind of weapon taken away from the people of Britain, as been stated by others and the facts are being proven, the hangun ban means only the Army the police, and criminals now have them. shooters who keep bending over to let these pc correct idiots pass even more draconion laws against the law abiding should think what their next laws will be! I wont roll over and say nowt and theres plenty of guys on here who think the same.
  9. Thanks Davy, Just read a new book--Who broke the window-----by Eva Chuckedabrick

  12. I think james that the fact you purchased a Rowan trigger for your AA 400 might explain why your AA400 trigger return spring has gone missing! God knows why you thought a aftermarket trigger would be superior to the AA one? Bad move in my opinion the whole point of the latest AA triggers is the fact they have been completely revampted into a true two stage job. sounds as if you tried to fit the Rowan, couldnt do it and lost the return spring. no offence mate but if you dont know what your doing then you shouldnt mess! after all a badly set up trigger is liable to go off when it sho
  13. A biro spring is probally not long enough your best bet is to phone A A after Xmas, ask for Chris, tell him your guns trigger spring has failed he will probally put one in the post FOC. phone number-01323-845853.
  14. I have just looked at my own AA400F carbine and the trigger return spring sits in a predrilled cup just above the safety notice at the back of the trigger. have you got a correct length spring from your gunshop ? it has to be long enough to need compressing when fitting. if its short it will not stay in place.
  15. The new AA 400/10/510 trigger units have been modified to a better spec, sideways play has been taken out, making slightly tighter assembly, The trigger return spring is I believe to ensure full contact with the second pull sear because as said with no play in the working parts it is possible to make the trigger unsafe. the spring is only a small one take one out of a biro type pen and install it. then remove the trigger plate on the left side of the trigger. you can then cock the trigger without the gun going off and you can then see and set the trigger settings to how you wan
  16. NOW NOW, Stealthy! Stop hallucinating you cant get bugger all for free nowadays!
  17. Cheers Craig, I am OK thanks, With these PC lunatics passing daft laws I hope I can cut the Turkey on Xmas day with my new RUBBER KNIFE!
  18. Just been reading the grave proposals for Scots who shoot air weapons! Amongst the seemingly draconion proposals is one to ban shooting in ones back garden! I understand it might be irritating for some people to hear airguns being fired next door but this politically correct movement being applied to any activity is wrecking this once great country. what next? the problem with most Brits is we ignore these insidious sounding proposalls untill its too late Please google "The Countryside alliance" on their main page is news of whats being proposed in full and the chance t
  19. I have looked at a few of the various organisations offering shooters cover, the best for me was becoming a member of The Countrside Alliance. for the daft price of £16.00 per year I am covered for millions plus the back up of experts on gun laws and even intervention on my part of any disputes with neighbours, farmers, land owners, etc.
  20. Just had a look at BASC site, their quoting £46.00 for air rifle membership!!. Too expensive. in my opinion.
  21. Me too Craig mate! Having said that Jonesy the Ultra is a very, very accurate rifle, will outshoot the standard HW at ranges over 35 yards!.
  22. Only been available in the UK since August I believe? The gunshop in Market Street Wellington, Telford, sells them for £99.00 both calibres. shop around first Bud, some dealers are ripping guys off on prices.
  23. Yes Bag dad is right, the short amount of cylinder shown is the part that houses the regulator, XTX, Tench, and JB, are the usual installers of that part which is a excellent addition to even out the consistancy of the shot to shot reading of the velocity of your shots. Your a lucky fellow. Well done.
