i have had more grief from pet owners normally fat labs or collies that only get out at weekends that any worked lurcher mainly owned bull xs of 1 st cross or 5/8 3/8 and found them no real bother with pups kids or strange dogs unless they came over all agresssive in fact they were more laid back and better to say and has loyal has anything as good as gold until something kicked them of that said i wouldnt put up with a dog aggressive dog no matter how good it was

sorry for your loss matey i know its hard at the min for you all but i second what bosun said even though you will never replace buck but given time im sure you will get back in the swing some of my old dogs now long gone but never forgotten got me through some very tough times and given time a pup will do you a world of good chin up matey it does get easier

dont get hung up about size and weight matey thats birds job seen some good small bitches and dogs do a better job than some big lumps just have fun if the breeding right then its down you just take your time and dont rush things im sure you will both have fun

i have seen dogs up to 28 inch and bitches 25 inch but i suppose the parents should give you a guide matey and there more than quick enough for alot of tasks the most important part is entering i have seen some good bred bull xs get entered to early and given to much to soon just because its a bull x and spew just take your time and im sure you will have some sport together nice pup to matey

i was talking tonight with a lad that digs and he mentioned a dog that was mute on foxes and the fact it always opened up on more educated game he said it was down to the fact it was nervy of what in front of it whats your thoughts about this i know that some dogs can bully certain stuff and will walk when the going gets tough on tougher game

sorry for your loss vin when maggie passed away even though she had retired i missed her badly in the field the little lad cried has she use to sleep on his bed he was distraught when he knew she gone and her greeting in the morn to him was licking his face which he use to put his arm round her she loved him to bits she was more his dog than mine i know he still misses her and i often think she wouldnt of missed that when i watched her sibling run but its gets easier vin
