  13. bird dog and jigsaw its a bitch I have , she around 27 " 60 lb in weight , ive not got lamp sorted ,my keeper mate has 2 x 210s and said I could borrow one but ive used it on the back of his truck and im not keen on the size I think im going to just get a metal reflector and keep the 50 w bulb in as when phoned clulite he just said 100 w bulb is just brighter and beam the same length around 1000 meters an the 210s are 800 m so not gaining nothing another couple of holly I 'll have to get out this weekend for updated pics
  14. with small type paddocks and smallish fields then get close as poss as they know where they want to be long slips are ok ,9 times out of ten they turn their quarry and run towards you or to the side so your always on the quarry long slips on grass ok as dogs can see them long slips in stubble ?? we can see them but dogs may suffer running blind training early in a pups life slipping them when the see the quarry in the beam only benefits in the later seasons as they trust you and know you have quarry out there somewhere moonlit nights is a no no for me as the bitch can see more than us

  23. hi lads n lasses ive had a clulite lazerlite for 17 yrs ish and done me ok(had 2 ) ,nice clear white beam etc but when out lamping on a recky and got a few lamp shy bits n bobs kicking about I had a few long slips ,yes the dog did well but I could not see the quarry I just illuminated the bitch up as she was tight on it and could hear it turn as it was stubble ,but ideally I want the lamp the quarry at this distance for the safety of the dog as I can see danger before the dog and switch the lamp off if need to the clulite I like as its robust double bulb for gates
