Yes most definitely. If both dog and bitch are fit healthy dogs then its the right thing to do. You wont regret it. It works the same wether its birds cows rats mice.etc ect.
I really enjoyed watching the Pondeco pack working. At first they didnt look much but they are a good pack and work naturally with each other, and you dont need a horse or be a long distance runner to get a view. Great to see dogs working like that.

This is a stainless steel chain a metre long with a hook at each end. One end goes on collar and the other for leather handle. Or take the handle off to wrap round a fence post and clip back onto itself so the dog doesnt eat the leather.
Racing Greyhounds and coursing Greyhounds are bred with most influence from their results and not from their confirmation I think. If its open class it wouldnt matter to the breeder if it had poor feet. I think it might have been different with English open coursing because they needed to be tougher alround. Not just have pace.
