    ................whats the name of the poison the c$nt is using.....and by the sounds of it he could do with some in his tea !!!!!!! i thought this was illeagal now,and if its true they could be sent down,you cannot bait a carcass with poison and leave it in the open anymore,as it not only kills the intended prey your after,but other animals and birds too,and your dog if it gets to it.......my dogs from pup have allways been scolded if they whent to drink from puddles,they wont even look at them now.

    had a similar thing with my pup,couldnt understand why he was slobbering all the time one day,opend his mouth and found a piece of garden cane stuck in the roof of his mouth,managed to get it out,but we keep a good eye on him now as he carrys anything from a leaf to a log around all the time

    moll,i couldnt agree more,i couldnt give a monkeys about what other dogs are doing,aslong as im happy seeing my dogs run an work,they dont have to be catching to enjoy them

    i do as much as i can with my dogs,lamp,ferret,shoot over,my dogs are my companions,if im out there out with me,no matter what im doing

    i have all 3,rifle,shotguns, and my lurchers,if im out with the rifle my dogs come with me,if im rough shooting my dogs come with me,my dogs are not just used for lamping,ferreting,there used for retrieving ,flushing etc,but i do tend to be out with the dogs more than i am with guns....

    bring her inside,both mine are indoors at night,and most of the day if the wife is home,plus they have more interaction with us,plus side also is they learn more,more quickly i think...

    lets just put one thing right,my dog is stock broken,walks with hens all day,and in the summer with chicks also,she has the geese grabbing her tail,never touches them,and she never touches the pheasants in my pens,but if we are out on the hunt she knows different,if we are on other land its fair game,she also can be called of game.....the question was does your dog take feather,yes,she dont have to be around pheasant pens or rampaging through woods to take feather.

    my dog takes feather also,i like to see her take them in mid air as there taking off,i also take her shooting an she retrieves pigeon although it takes her a while to get rid of the feathers out her mouth.i think its good to see them take different things
