    Cable tie its 2 front paws together round a kitchen chair leg..do the same way its back paws to a different kitchen chair and stretch...use scarf to tie his head to kitchen table at about 4 inches high with infected eye facing up...set tea bag on eye for half hour... job done.?... Edited to add thats a joke btw..let him up on sofa with you for and hour and soothe his eye afterwards hes settled by layin it on him her...and not forcing it on him..it only needs a little toxins from the tea bags to sooth it..

    When a terrier enters when we or myself is out there is never a panic lol.. once contact is made I sit down and relax... have a smoke and before bellman is ever took out ill do the usual old school drill listen at the entrance and indicate where I think they are...then walk up and have a listen see if I was right or how far out I was in guess work.. then other men be giving their opinions and listening...sure it's all part of the enjoyment of working the dogs and I guess keeping with the older generation methods.. and I think you can tell how much terrier work a man has done by his listening u

    T bars are a handy tool to always have in the vehicle as someone already said the sharp tooths always there but not always needed..trouble with t bars is most folk dont know how to use them correctly.. I never sink the bar full into the burrow..I only use it to give me an indication and get on top of them without spiking the hole...most think there for spiking in to find the tube then not heeling them over one of my pet hates...hence leaving the burrow full of bar holes letting in water and cold...im not saying mine is the right way its just the way I use it when I do...

    There just a 12 mil stainless steel rod mine's is about 4 foot long threaded at the top so that a ear piece the one I have is laithed wood with a cove for your ear to cup into screws on...you push it into the ground.. they do work when the people whos at the dig with you stop laughing and giving stick for ten mins when they first see it.. water board have been using them for year's to find springs...

    The truth is terrier work was always the first option threw on the table by ANTIS and sometimes some of our own when the proverbial hit the fan and stuff was getting serious.. thankfully terrier work is was and always will be the most effective the most efficient and the most humane..when done correctly.. and presented with competence and confidence to the powers to be.. terrier work is in the safest place it has ever been..if C.O.C.s are adhered to everything you are doing is completely LEGAL...

    Experienced terriers dont have an off day.. terriers with the correct wiring and lineage may be out witted once or twice in their career ...some never if man and terrier is stubborn enough... and if they have been giving me thought that there is an enquiry.. the only way to solve the conundrum is ask the terrier..by working the terrier.. thl wont answer your questions..only you can.?
