Personally, I have nothing against anyone of any sexuality (paedo's aside of course)- its genetic apart from anything and not a matter of choice. I think the reason a lot of blokes worry about being hit on by gay men is because, as a man, we know just how 'up for it' blokes tend to be. So in a roundabout sense, we judge others by our own standards. That's my theory anyway. My philosophy: if it harms no-one, do as you will.

That's the problem and the reason for the ban. Some people are considerate, but many, many more aren't! Manners don't come into it with ignorant people I'm afraid.

depends how many times ye gonner press it i aint trained for years me shoulders fecked but a recon ad piss 100 120 is a lot if ye aint training though judging by most of the posts on here all thl users are built like arnie,as fast as usain bolt and can fight like rambo I only claim what I can do and willing to prove. I find it best that way.

depends how many times ye gonner press it i aint trained for years me shoulders fecked but a recon ad piss 100 120 is a lot if ye aint training though As I'm not as young as I used to be, my condition comes and goes in cycles (depending on tendonitis), but I should be able to press it between 6 and 10 times in a set. It's only 264lbs (what I'm used to!), 300 + lbs is more impressive. Totally agree though, for someone who doesn't/hasn't trained, 120kg is flip heavy! Cheers Duncan.

120kg isn't that much to press if you've been training for any length of time. Happy to prove it if anyone's bothered enough to watch .

Thanks for all the replies guys, it's put my mind to rest. The rest of the pack look to me unequivocally as leader and Roxy (the bull x) seems to be following suit. Now just got to make sure she performs well in the field, in the months to come. Thanks again guys -
Hi folks, I have a question as a newcomer to hunting dog ownership. According to Frank Sheardown, having your lurcher in with other dogs tends to be a handicap to the development of the lurcher. Has anyone experienced this? Is there any way I can counter-act the effect of my pack all being housed together? I still walk and train the pack and bull x separately, but is there anything more I can do, bar getting rid of any dogs? Thanks all, Duncan.

Wasn't there a guy who could hit a playing card edge on at 50 yards using a HW45 in .22 freehand a few years back? I seem to remember reading in the airgun comics. Excellent shooting Si - proof of your skills and indeed the accuracy of the venerable HW100 !! Duncan. -

After nearly 7 years of not smoking, I've been really tempted by the old cancer sticks again these last few weeks. People f*cking up constantly that affects me and mine is finally getting to me I guess. Weeks and months of stress! Not succumbed yet, must get out and shoot something!!

Semi Auto .22 v Bolt action .22?

range is the same, the bolt action does have the edge on accuracy, semi autos are cheaper to manufacture as there is no bolt. a new bolt alone for say a cz is over £100. yes, what he said -

USed to smoke 30+ per day, mostly rollies. Too much green too. Haven't smoked for 6 1/2 years, the odd bit of green aside. Tend to drink more these days though. Helps when life goes a bit shit.

typical rifle man no sport in shooting game imo its alot better and enjoyable seeing a dog you brought on as a pup to do the job in hand jmo Nothing to do with sport - I'm happy to send my dog (s) after quarry that is unlikely to damage them. I guess you and I just have different values. BTW, no longer just a rifleman and shotgunner, becoming a dogman now too. There is a place for both IMO. Cheers Duncan.
