  3. Just been reading up on an article about whippets and greyhounds lure coursing/racing and track racing. In a part it shows a greyhounds dewclaws strapped up so they cannot catch when running and so they couldn't get caught on the lure line. I know some people remove the dewclaws at a very young age but my whippet has still got them. What's the advantages/disadvantages of dew claws and does anybody strap them up when either working or racing? Just trying to learn a little bit more, you don't know if you dont ask. Cheers
  4. Beat a drugs test by putting a bit of fluff or spit in it and stir. Depends how much you want it if you feel like stirring your own piss. Contaminated sample so they won't test it. I don't take drugs but that's how to beat it

  10. heres a couple of mortar pics just to see if i could downsize the images to fit. on the first pics i am on the left (this is a sequence for firing, pulling the pin, load the bomb, heads down and then re-adjust) we was firing and the pics just seem to have turned out like this. the boy putting the bombs down is my best mate and we went through 2 tours working in this team. (DREAM TEAM ) wouldnt like to say how successful our mortar in afghan was but there wouldnt be much left if one of these landed near you and the last im in the middle. the dark ones were at night and im also the one kne

There's one that keeps coming into my garden. The dogs just ignore it now. At first they were all inquisitive but now they're like 'oh look it's old hoggy chomping on them slugs' haha
  14. We have put a lot of effort into the house and money. Decorating, doing the garden up, putting outside lights in and modernised the place. The landlady is nice enough, she's from Zimbabwe and but lives in Nottingham. Far distance from Scotland!! I think she would understand, only problem is her cock of a partner. He rang us moaning that we wanted to put the rent in early because I was working away. Honestly the house is in mint condition and far better than when she rented it to us. Just need something a bit better for the money I'm paying. Might just be honest and offer the deposit if I want
  15. Been living in my house now for just over a year. Been to look at another house to rent, this house is far better than the one I'm in just now. There's lots of land with it, a secure back yard and it's out in the sticks. They also don't mind the dogs or ferrets which was always going to be a problem. This is right in the middle of nowhere and i am frothing at the mouth with the amount of land available to walk the dogs and the potential to work them and the ferrets right on my doorstep. Now my question is, I have 11 months left on my tenancy agreement for the current house. I have pai
  16. Why don't you be more specific and then people know exactly what your looking for
  17. Speak to joe67, he will sell you mine next time he minds them!
  18. Bloody hell. More than one dummy. How good do you think my dog is. Lol
  19. Wouldn't be difficult to run. A fence or something and throw the dummy. Even hay bales or something for them to jump. Time it and get a prize. It would definitely attract more gun dogs. And would make the show A bit different from others.
  20. Oh i forgot. Nik b- it does mean something to us. We seem to get shut from all angles and need all the support we can get
  21. We had a tv crew follow us around for a wee while over Christmas. Don't know if the footage is on there? I tell you what, when the shit hits the fan, nae ammo left and your stuck in a fu cking compound for hours, the sound of them apache's is like the sound of an angel drifting in.
  22. I take it you was the judge then birddog? It was really good to see the kids getting involved. There's always gona be moaning when competing is involved, just one of those things. Thought the day was worth the drive and the prizes seemed really good. Expensive I guess. I'll be there next year with my whippet hunting a rosette! Haha Ive got a picture here of my son, rakes nephew and his dog in the ring talking to the judge. I must of caught birddog as he was turning round and looks like he's constipated! Haha will get it up soon, I'm working away ATM. It would be good to get a cros
