  1. After a bit input here all, I'm after a new pair of boots to wear while out shooting, something that's comfortable, warm is a must ! Lightweight , waterproof and was wondering what others rate as a decent boot, in the past I've worn muck boots which were good but heavy ! Bought a pair of hunter wellies last year only wore then about 4 times as I find them to cold, then my leather hiking boots, I'm thinking about a pair of magnums but I'm unsure ! Any input would be welcome & I'm not paying over £100.
  2. Your lot will hear you coming a mile off ! Unless you've bought some new boots & learned to be bloody quite lol
  3. Well worth it mate, but I think it would sell quicker if you sold the custom stock separate and sold the gun standard with the scope, and it is the pre anti tamper model lol
  4. Andy I told you the other day mate, sell the stock separate you should get your money back that you paid for it as it is stunning mate, then I'd say £450 for the s410 as standard
  5. you never know what some folk have ! Hard to come by these days, the adapters are worth there weight in gold ! sean wish had known you had a slim Jim pump + hose and adaptor as im after one
  6. Happy days mate, it's a topper gun, will have to arrange a shooting trip with you then I will see if you can shoot lol
  7. Don't worry the vizlauk has saved the day, will get it posted tomorrow with your slim Jim pump , hose and adaptor so you tinker on ! Regards Sean
  8. It's a strange place to shoot Jimmy, as you know 1 day the rabbits will sit on a white light, next time you go they bolt on a white lamp, the red lamp last night worked ! Was a few about when we first got to the farm , but very little showing when we had a wonder, must say what a cracking shot the 1 that I managed to shoot, only 3 shots fired all night, 2 of those were just to unload the gun while resting and packing up for the night !
  9. Well done on the shooting & getting the wife to join you, if I could convince my wife to tag along shooting with me, she would make as much noise as possible to scare the targets away, then start an argument saying I'm cruel, then more than likely try to report me to someone ! Some folk have it easy lol
  10. That's a first you were right & I was wrong! I will have a look at it to see if the rail I gave can go on mate
  11. Enjoyed watching that, something I've never tried but could get into ferreting !
  12. JJm & mattybugeye it's not a hw80 ! It's a webley Vulcan, it was fitted with a Titan mainspring last year, and I also got a special brass adaptor made & fitted to the barrel so any 1/2 unf silencer would go on it, would be a nice Old springer when refurbished, don't know what he was playing at when blade got it powder coated, the brass wire ŵheel on my bench grinder put pay to the green on the barrel before it went in the deep freeze before fitting the silencer adaptor ! Regards Sean
  13. Good on you for getting out & giving it a go, the n v is a good idea, as you know I could not get on with mine !
  14. And to the vizlauk for the rail to suit ! What time you going up farm & is Andy going up ? Top lad the person whom loaned it to Mac, Regards Sean
  15. The worst thing about it you never know what to expect from him, he's a strange one lol It could be worse mate. He could be getting in touch with his feminine side too..!!
  16. Jimmy next time your heading up to the farm go via pegswood , there's a place you need to call into on route ! St George's , the mental institute , I've heard they do alsorts there, what's things coming to , you have lost the plot now !
  17. Good shooting, the weather is p!ss poor or I would have been out tonight that's if it wasn't as bl00dy cold
  18. Great dogs for bushing and marking holes, I've got these 2, pure Patterdale bitch and Patterdale cross staff dog, the Patterdale cross staff is an excellent companion, he knows where the stuff I've shot is before me; best dog I've ever had, never worked them with ferrets but great on the rabbits
  19. That looks very much like my old gun ! Did you get it from over Sunderland way ?
  20. Interesting topic, well worth a bit thought, but rather than an on going fued, that will cause a bit varied agro between the farmer & the land owner, I would put it down to experience and walk away & let sleeping dogs lie ! Karma mate karma ! Then shoot your adjoining land and everything that strays onto it ! Keep your cool mate as good words travel quicker & smoother than bad , Regards Sean
  21. Any idea which model your going for ? The kt or the sporter stock version ! Have you had a hold of either to see what they feel like ? .22 or .177 -
  22. Pleased to hear that someone let you go along with them mate, bet you got your eyes opened, you see Andy there is still some decent folk around, well done
  23. Never tried them with night vision, but had them both for normal use, much prefer the 4-16-50 the fov is so much better as is the light inlet mate
