Yeah my brother phoned me and told me mate. Everyone from up there who came to visit us was required to bring me some pork pies ?.I used to wait for them to come out of the oven on Monday mornings and eat two sat in the van while they were still hot Hopefully someone will carry on with them.

No mate. Percy turner’s pork pies. Food of the gods.

Watch the Greg Wallace programme about making pasties Arry. Thats the Ginsters factory. I wouldn’t feed them to the ex-wife.

I was waiting for D to sort out the Pastie debate Kev as he has been Cornish longer than me. I don’t eat many pasties as they give me heartburn like nothing else can. I’ve never eaten a pastie from Devon either so can’t comment on them, but I do feel able to say that cream first on a scone is just wrong. ?

I think he fancies you. ?

These taste better, and the gilts and couches put up a good scrap. Freshwater bream are like landing a wet paper bag. ?

Cheers mate. I’d never had a black from the shore before as we don’t seem to get them up here, which seems strange as we get loads on the boat about a mile off

Nipped out for a session while the granddaughter was at school and managed to get the bream hat trick. Well pleased with that. Couches are stunning fish.

Thanks Kev. I was buzzing when I landed it.

You can make good money digging lug and rag worms. Collecting peeling crabs can be rich pickings at certain times of the year. It does tend to be very up and down though. If you have a couple of tackle shops who will buy them straight from you it is not a bad way to make money. It’s not easy though digging 5-10lb of worms on a regular basis. I do a bit myself but I’m only part time at it and pick my days to do it.

I will be there Dave.

They want kids to go and watch this fcuking load of freaks flash their cocks but I can’t decide for myself if I want to go and watch Chubby Brown tell jokes because he’s sexist. worlds gone mad.

No mate. Bread. I use mackerel when I’m fishing in the harbour at Padstow but only use bread on the beaches.

?. Thick lipped this one mate. .

Well pleased with this. First target for the year achieved. Weighed it on certified scales at 2.5700kg. (5lb 10.5oz in old money).

Make up a little long line. ? Must be plenty of worms about this weather.

Do I need to wear rubber gloves to look at it. Ha just seen the picture. May need wellies on if you mess with your electric.

I can imagine mate. some of the farms and such that I’ve worked at are unbelievable. Why pay an electrician when Albert the local Jack of all trades will do it for a bag of tatties ?

You’d be surprised how many houses still have the old rewire able fuses in them.
-
You don’t put the neutral in any of them. lives only into that switch. If you have a live and neutral feed in and a live and neutral out to each light you need to put all three neutral wires in a separate strip connector. The live feed in goes into the common and you also need to link common to common with a short piece of wire. You then put a live from one light feed into the left hand L1 and the other live into the right hand L1. I will draw you a diagram if you need it. Those switches are a pain in the arse because of the neon. you can just remove it if it’s not neces

The pollack marks down Penzance way throw up cuckoo wrasse on a regular basis. Don’t seem to get them off the deep water marks up here. Don’t get decent pollack up here that often either to be fair.

Big hounds are caught on a few of the beaches up around Bude in the summer. I will probably have to go down west to get a cuckoo off the shore. I love the mullet fishing on the beaches in the winter. Better than harbour fishing.
