  1. If you’re travelling with Bob I’d keep two weekends free at least. He likes to get there early. ?
  2. Yeah he’s a good angler on boat and shore. Some monster couches get caught down there.
  3. Yeah it’s Lo Kie adventures. Kieran Faisey runs it for Chippy Chapman who owns Bite Adventures.
  4. I’m good mate thanks. Hope you’re all well. Some good ones been had down Penzance and St Ives. Lo Kie adventures has had a few.
  5. Hope you have a good day mate. Try Mevagissey or Falmouth Kev if you want a good chance of accidentally hooking one. ? Quite a few been had down there.
  6. Yeah I’ve got to bring the hat back is my excuse. ? I honestly think she breathes a huge sigh of relief when I drive off mate. The first glass of wine is poured before I get to the top of the road.
  7. It’s my wedding anniversary on the 20th. Looks like she will be celebrating on her own. ?
  8. Yeah mate they’re thick lips. Nice to catch them out on the beach rather than in the harbour.
  9. I’m good Kev thanks. hope you’re all good. Not done a lot of fishing myself mate. Just been doing a bit of mullet fishing at Constantine bay. Had a couple of 4-1/2 pounders and a few smaller ones (and a few blanks of course). Now it’s up and running you can just leave it to the minions. ?
  10. Take my hat off to you mate. Well done getting it to this stage. ?
  11. Yeah that would be great mate thanks. I usually fish the Fowey for other things down near the mouth and in the town areas. I have tried for flounder up near Golant but didn’t get any.
  12. Ey up Kev. I’m good thanks mate. How are you. yeah I have been out as much as I can fit in. Been getting some decent whiting (Not everyone’s favourite fish but I love it). Had them up around the 2lb mark.Plenty of them as well. Few cod showing in the Camel as well. Some decent ones in the Fowey as well. Been red mullet caught in the Fowey as well up to 2 1/2lb but I can’t catch one of the bloody things. I’m on a flounder hunt at the minute but I can’t get one above 1-10. Have you and Fin been out. We’re currently looking for a new lurcher but it’s like trying to find a
  13. Some nice fish have come out of the Fowey in the last few weeks.
  14. Hope you’re not sneaking up here so you can have a beer in the pub. ?
  15. It’s not an electric hob he’s got.
  16. One of them is for the oven which will be rated at between 2and 3kw(8-13 amps) The other one is just for the igniter on the hob. (Gas). This will use virtually no amps whatsoever. whichever one you uncoupled the oven from turn the switch around so you can see the back. If you have a voltage tester check that you have 230v on the supply terminals. if you have turn the switch on and test the load terminals you should have 230v on these with the switch on. If you haven’t it’s either the fuse or the switch itself which is faulty.
  17. As always it was a brilliant weekend with good people. Hats off to Kev for sorting it out. Big thanks to everyone who provided the food which was great as usual. Kev did a brilliant job as stand in master of the barbecue.
  18. I can’t view the photos. Anything I need to do? Cheers. Robbo.
  19. Congratulations Ken. Best job in the world being a granddad.
  20. Drink tonic water mate, (if you can )it contains quinine which helps prevent cramps. I suffered badly with them at one time. Magnesium tablets can help as well.
  21. I will be there again. I quite like the look of that dressing gown.
  22. Was a top weekend as usual with some good laughs and 2 cracking days fishing. Dan did what he always does and filled us to the brim with lovely meat and sausages. (I really need to eat some salad today). Owners of the fishery were really nice people and all came and joined last nights festivities. Well done to everyone who attended. ??
  23. I’m going to bring both my ice boxes so should be able to fit a lot of beers in there. Ice Will last for the weekend in the igloo one at least.
  24. I do pots in the River Camel and they seem to peel in cycles. As Arry says, sometimes get loads sometimes a few. We do get them at night by lamping them but you’re not after the ones that put their dukes up, you are just spotting the jacks that are carrying a hen and removing her from him. Always leave the belly to belly ones personally but others take them. You can get hundreds at a time doing this.
