  2. fook me mate. i remember the thread a while back now i give you a txt check number to find out the vhiecles history, as it had all gone quite i prussemed it was all sorted. it appears to have been one big headache for you from the off. you should get rid of it easy enough now though.
  3. Funny how folk see things difrent,,,I always thought stuff was cheap on ours,,,mind I always got everything from the breakers i got my cambelt kit fitted on my focus for the same price as just the cam kit and water pump for a puegoet mate thats a saving straight off. i think they are generally easier to work on aswell which makes things a little cheaper.
  4. ive been driving the ford focus estates tdci for the last 3 years great cars reliability wise cheap parts aswell compared to the peugoet hdi's i use to drive they were great cars when going well but i had no end of problems with electrics on them. on the plus side they had loads of boot space and great ground clearence. i thought the parts were expensive aswell. ive looked at the octavia estates they hold there money well so i couldnt really afford what i wanted. my mechanic told me to go for a ford estate or the skoda and always edged towards the skoda. so my betting is skoda would be th
  5. hopefully this dog will being the same in a few weeks.
  6. i like to start my dogs as soon as possible the earlier they learn the better. buster at 4.5 months will always jump even if he can go under. i know when he goes under stuff instead of over hes either knackered or hurting. imo its a must for a dog to learn to jump
  7. if your struggling next time you pop over mate i could probably get some mince chicken for the dogs, i get kilo tubes for a £1. if that fails i order from tpms animal feeds, they deliver to the door on a tuesday in my area. 01527510870 i havent used them for about 18 months but they have been going years so they might be worth a try.
  8. ive never herd of the man, 42 is no age to be turning your toes up. RIP kimbo
  9. he looks to have bonded with your lad well. to be honest he looks like hes made himself nicely at home. my old dog is alsation/collie X whippet/greyhound. i had a lad pop round a while ago and he said to me buster looks well, and my reply was that aint buster lol, they do look alike.
  10. ive seen the sire working on a few occasions and hes put plenty of game in the bag.
  11. cheers. i would like to think you and the breeder are happy with how the dog is being looked after and are happy with what hes doing. i couldnt get a mark off my older dogs to know for sure as they know i aint ferreting, so they dont bother marking. i watched the pup on yesterday evenings walk go to a hole i had just seen a rabbit drop into and he give the same tell tale signs as the night before so i am sure i have got a mark from him.
  12. have you not been tempted to try a chilli eating comp? i bet they are fun to watch.
  13. thanks, i think he has a little.
  14. i know its frightening how fast time goes by. hes 12 september 14th
  15. he is a big lump thats for sure. he talked you into having a pup then lol. they should make some tidy animals.
  16. fcuk that. not a chance of me attempting it
  17. theres a litter of pups about just turned 10 months old from him, a lad used him over a 5/8 3/8 bull greyhound and from what i can gather he is very happy with the 2 pups he kept back so far. but only time will tell. he also went to a dutch herder.
  18. i decided to take the old dog out for a hours walk yesterday evening along with my pup and buster. hes 12 in september and suffers alot after a long walk for a day or 2 which i think is down to him getting run over when he was a young dog. and the age thing. with it being warm all the dogs soon had there tounges hanging out and thats how it stopped for all the walk lol. these simple little strolls are a good education for the pup. he looks but allready knows he cant touch the only place we could find for a cool off i am sure i got a couple of marks from the pup.
  19. thats a poor do mate. perhaps there will be a big influx for when the harvest starts.
  20. i dont know about anybody else but i havent seen a decent number of pigeons about for some time, its like they have vanished of the face of the earth. ive even spoken to a few of the local game dealers and they have said numbers are well down to last year, from that i take it numbers are low in a bloody large are from me.
  21. Sounds like a safe bet, just check for any complications and confirm pregnancy. Most cases of them saying how many pups seems to end up wrong. true. my vet said they will only confirm pregnancy or in some cases no pregnancy.
  22. RIP ali. he was one of the greatest boxers in a era of good/great boxers and quite possibly the the greatest of all times.
