    I did think about doing that , but I had a JB mod which came from a BSA R10 cut down barrel and shroud , John made a very good silencer from it , just that little bit heavier than the HW mod and it works a treat

    Very nice guns to shoot , I have one in .22 the only thing I had to do is put a heavier mod on to stop any muzzel flip. The other night ,I put three pellets in a row through a 8mm hole ,size of a hole in a polo mint at 30 yards knelling witnessed

    I think we all have different methods on new land , my self i have a walk a round on day one to see the lay out of the land , to see if there is any obstacles in the way , to see what vermin there is on the land , any public pathways , buildings ,cattle , horses and safe back stops and then take a mental note of every i have seen , once i am happy then i start shooting the land

    Falcon Accuracy plus 13.4gr running @ 620-625 fps great even at long range ,use them in all of my HW guns

    Right here is my take on it for what its worth , yes they are good guns special the older ones but what you have to remember is the was built for the FAC market . I will probably get slaughtered for this ,but IMO there is better spring gun than the in sub 12 specially in .177 and even .22 ,example would be HW77 or 97 and we all know how good they are , HW 95 the baby , HW 99 , AA prosport and the AA tx. Personally I think there is this romantic element about owing a HW80 and I can see that with the early ones

    Just a up date , Sold the BSA r10 last Monday night ,so on Thursday went out to get my new ultra from another RFD . The first gun shop I went to on Monday said they will order it straight away and it would be here on Wednesday but they are not open so Thursday I could pick it up. Phoned on Thursday and got told it would not be in until Friday ,they did not order the ultra until Tuesday ,had a go at them and told them its not good enough I would go else where ,which i did Well , cleaned the barrel, put the Pulsar N870 on zeroed in at 35 yards with JSB heavies pellet on pellet ,so I thoug
