    I had a call from Foxdropper to say one of his farmers had seen 5 foxes circling a newborn calf,and it was making the cow very agitated,so,come and get them!! I set off for the farm with a bag full of dead chickens from one of my farms(bloody foxes)and we set up a 'Kebab' in the middle of the field,there was myself Foxdropper and his daughters boyfriend RabbitController(a very keen young man). Kebab..... After cutting a chicken up and scattering it around the kebab we went off to a nearby chicken farm for a mosey around for a fox and maybe even a Buck that has been seen lately.As we drove

    Just persevere trying to make it work with your hand mate,I use the gap between the fore finger and the honeymoon finger on the palm side,and get plenty of Foxes.I do use other calls but none are as good as the hand when it is done well.The WAM call is probably the best of the bunch though. http://www.wamfoxcall.co.uk/ Martin...

    Mate,don't go there........in the next field(adjoining permission)we flicked the lamp on to see one straight away,Dropper was down on the bipod,but,the phone went...."what time are you coming home"? that gave the fox enough time to get into a poor position whilst still chasing rabbits in the lamp! My bad,I should of let the phone vibrate,and he SO wanted to beat you mate...lol There are still oads about though Local,so try to get a night time pass to get over here bud,and we will settle the score.     I had 4 chopped up in one field last year,and unfortunately the farmer thought that it was a result! If by showing graphic pictures it helps some people understand what is happening in our fields,then it might have the effect of these people maybe walking the fields before they are cut.I know .......I may well be a bit naive,but if it saves one fawn then it has to be a good thing!

    Bob,I'm not sure if the law is the same in Scotland as it is down here,but,'Vermin' down here does not include Fox.If you want to shoot foxes with a .22lr down here it must be on your cert. saying that you can shoot Fox with it.Although,if you come across an injured Fox then you can legally put it out of it's misery.Be very careful out there as it is your own responsibility to make sure you are within the law,and the Police would love nothing better than to have you over if you step out of line!     I have quite a few of the old Abu's Jasper(probably 8 or 9)and I have removed the anti backwind from all of them,they are a much better reel without it mate,you got a good deal though so well done. Martin
