  2. Totally agree with it,should also ban coyotes v roadrunners, cats v mice. The cartoon industry has made millions off the back of animal cruelty....

  7. Bit kryptic Ken....is he ill,banned etc ???
  8. Isn't the fad as a direct result of the stick the KC got for the close breeding and resulting inherent defects in trying to achieve ideals in existing breeds? Once the dust settles they'll no doubt recognise and set the type for Sprockers, Labradoodles and the like and start the whole thing over again. I'm pretty certain Labradoodles and cockerpoos are already mid process of being accepted as breeds by KC....apparently the first labradoodles were bred to use as guide dogs for people with dog allergies and its snowballed from there,I would have thought the vast majority who own these cr
  9. Thats cheap, the wifes mate paid £900 for a cockerpoo...its mental...KC must be praying for this cross breeding fad to end, will be losing them a fortune in registration fees etc
  10. Pack them bleeding fags in lol, glad youre back on your feet mate....
  11. Ours are about 20ft up,on the apex of an old barn.
  12. Just had the young barn owls/kestrels rung on my local perm, the owls were no bother to handle, the young Kestrel bit fook out of the fella who does the ringing lol.Its great watching the young owls stretching their wings and finding their way around the farm at dusk...Last year they reared six young ,this year theres just the two,but theres a chance of another clutch yet as these are ready to go,they bred a lot earlier this year than last....
  13. "Lets make boxing great again" Poor fella really should wear a helmet for his own safety.....
  14. Im sorry mate, the" backfiring clown car" comments killing me,ROFL....Take her with you but keep her on her lead, only way to find out what youre dealing with tbh When I take the lurcher out with me checking the mole traps he runs marker to marker now, empty one, hes already sat at the next.I know its different with live traps but she soon work it out
  15. Nothing but admiration for you Nik,it was a brave move and Im glad its paying off for you and your family.Spent many happy days in Anglesey.love the place...atvb Dave
  16. A mate had a lurcher and Spaniel stolen last week,we are on the Appleby route and its become something of a factor in dog thefts around this area, around this time, far to often to be less than coincidental. I'm off to Appleby tomorrow for the week get some pictures up of the dogs pal I'll keep my eyes open for them Thanks mate, but he has no pics, and the dogs not chipped either.....not done himself any favours tbh
  17. If you don't put your faith in your dogs they will play up, in the field or at home. Its" nothing to do with you" but you reckon I should cull a top little terrier for being loyal. Yes.And by the way, your dog IS playing up lol.You obviously have some concerns about the dog or you wouldn't have started a topic asking opinions about it titled Human Aggressive Russel..Last I,ll say on the matter.
  18. Theres nothing the law can do.... yet....they couldn't here till not so long ago.I don't think knowing it was within the law would ease my conscience if my dog mullered some kid who was unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time
  19. Its your dog, nowt to do with me.I just couldn't put my faith in a dogs judgement between "legitimate visitors" everyone else.
  20. I don't have a problem with a dog protecting owners/property,I just couldn't live with the "what if,s" ie a gate/door accidently left open and kids got friends round etc.A pal of mine had a ridgeback years ago didn't like strangers and managed a "nip" here or there, one day it turned on his wife, she ended up needing her hand sewn back together....jmo, its your dog ....
  21. Good dogs are sometimes worth the agg and its not for you to understand, because it aint your dog. If you know your dog, you don't let situations arise. Also dogs like this rarely get nicked As long as its not my leg or one of my kids its chewing on....I wouldn't think many would want a biter gifted to them, let alone nick one lol
  22. There's man biters and there's dogs that get so wound up they bite something moving out of ftustration. Big difference imo I agree, but its the same outcome eitherway.....pts
  23. Cant for the life of me understand why anyone would tolerate a man biter,no matter how good a working dog......its a cull.
  24. Cheers Ray,personally I think the neighbours have got something to do with it....how can somebody go over his back fence with a large dog and 4 big ferret hutches in the daytime without somebody noticing something....
