    Your quite right, I did think you need collie for this level of obedience. I'm not talking "half a brain", I'm talking about lamping off the slip and responding to hand signals daytime. Obviously you don't Shows what u know fella I know many a dog that can work off slip and respond to hand signals in the day for working cover. My 3/4 saluki that just retired did the same. To me thats not exactly amazing or any more then half brain

    My dogs in past I very rarely gave it two em just on them really hard nites were ur out all day n then got lamping for 6-7 hours lol I feel smashed afta so think only fair to help dog afta, strangely dog next morning afta few hrs kip is bouncing to go out again so seems to work

    Nice dog if its got the tenacity to do what it's bred for All these it's to heavy lot it's bred for a job Also ur be surprised you don't need a rocket of a dog to catch bunnies its be known for collies/bulls/beddy's/gsd's to catch rabbits on the lamp So something half grey should easy enough but I can think of alot better uses for a dog like that

    Loads use coursing bred types as field dogs 4 lamping/daytime n all that. My bro gave a family friend the ova day a very well bred coursing dog pup that will b used for the same kind of thing a lamp dog and a day dog

    Get a pup from parents that do what u want the pup to do, that have been grafted hard. It's a lottery with all pups but u fancy doing the lottery with one ticket or a 100. Regards to the beddy/whip that shocking he could just be a duff dog or bad training as beddy/whips have been around for years and years and well known for there rabbiting capabilities.

    Some dogs just dont retrieve all the way not always about confidence. Sometimes it can be pack related why would too dog give up its prey to a lower pack member ??????

    As been said you dont no how she been treated before regards to the crying, winning I wouldnt put that down to saluki. Lost count the amount of saluki types my family have owned all my family run em and we dont hav that problem. Aint un heard of tho in any cross that if was neglected before you had it and now you got a good bond with her she could be worried ur gonna leave her and not come bk. dogs ain't stupid just stay calm [bANNED TEXT] her an she should slowly get out of it.     I myself never used a heat lamp I suppose depends on the kennel and bedding you have, I can tell u this it was -4 were I live came bk hammered last nite n slept in my dogs kennel [bANNED TEXT] the dog after an argument [bANNED TEXT] the mrs. I was warm an toasty all night. All I can say glad I spent that £50 extra on insulation I think dogs got it better then me. Unless we hav artic conditions I think charting right unless ur kennel is inadiqaute
