Firstly good that ur thinking it through should not be a whim Secondly my mate Jamie ( borntorun ) has one the dam was the collie sire grey she's 22-23tts Id say. She aint bad still young being in second season. Seen her progress from a young pup. Most she had when we been out is 26rab I think. Shes caught a few long un I seen her run that many times nice bitch . N will walk u into the ground unreal stamina. Only prob which Jamie will admit you say boo and she shits her pants way to hormonal. I dont like that in a dog n neather does Jamie but we put up with it cos what she puts in bag

Look at coursing and its history how many of the real best where bred out of non workers, a small manority. Nearly all the real good ens have good blood behind them. But then again at the top of the coursing world standards are alot higher cant paper over the cracks that some do in other area to much Money to lose.

You are talking like a true teenager now..so you want to drive to Johnny's and match his 10 1/2 month old pup against a half decent adult dog..come back in 2yr's time when the pup has a couple of season's under it's belt..and if you do i am pretty confident in Bron wiping the floor with your new fashion waste of kennel space breed..at the game she was bred for.. Feck off mate, ain't even gonna waste my breath with u. Ur the biggest ass locker on this thread. Me n jonnyboy got an understanding easy resolved via pm but really sad how the little click come on churping. I cant say what the ma

I'd hazard a guess at a lot more than that malamute x that you've got/getting. Jibbers and jackers can come from the best x best breeding I'd hope so mine is a first gen and before u spout out any shit u don't know about she dam works very well indeed. I fussy as feck where my dogs come from, and I was taking the piss off another topic so get ur tounge out his ass muppet I ain't got my tongue up anybodies arse, don't need too !! Well regarding the dam of your dog we've only got your word for that, same as anybody else. Wasn't you saying that the dam of your dog is only catching

How many sires and dams to this line are actually worked an done well for them self, How many jibers in the bunch in your breeding. How many failed ones but bred to keep the line going. As it all a lottery anyway, Soz andy had to say it lol

Think going alittle off here I know there's no guarrantee with dogs you put best to best and hope for best but in all fairness if you got half a brain you try all you can to put the odds in ur favours. Most replies here give Hancock his fuel if it doesn't matter then all these people breeding off un tested animals or jibers are doing right then yeah ????? Sounds backwards to me. I Garath got a 18inch whippet never caught a rabbit altho keeps trying. Jibs on pheasants just don't like the luck of em scared of his own farts but as thl reckons we could be on to sonething special

See were u comin from but you've made an easy comparison. With hancock im talking of working dog men forget about the hancock types they aint even worth the breath . Heres another one my mate has has a litter(in theory this is) hes only had his first dog one season and only been in the game that long then you got you for example been in the game longer then I probably been alive ( joke) in those extra years you would of seen and done things with dogs and probably seen the good with the bad wouldnt u think u were in a better position to know if a dogs worth breeding from then say the first sea

We all want tested parents that's the norm but what about tested owners seen a bloke on the colli x thread wanting advice on what to put to his dog on a forum who never seen the dog work or really no land he hunts. Do u think owners like that should be breeding with inexperience to this game. I no if I was sourcing a pup I wouldnt want it off someone just starting out, takes time to understand what qualities are truly needed and worthy of breeding from you don't just pick that up in a season or 2 what u guys think. Do u recon thats why theres so much shit about
-
DONT BREED IT, no offense but do abit more in the trade see various dogs work on the quarry you hunt on the land you hunt and gain abit of experience. U can tell you ain't done much on needing opinions on what to put to UR dog. Novices shouldnt be breeding working lurchers there enough shit being put out there, leave it to the people who no Wat there doing. Buy pup in from dogs doing what you want and leave the breeding out.......,,,,,,,,,,,

Keeping that bond with your Lurcher
paulsmithy83 replied to Borntohuntbow's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
For me kennelling is best, like other said quality over quantity which big rule [bANNED TEXT] dogs. Bond is most important aspect dog don't like ya it ain't gonna wanna work hard for ya -
what would you class as a great dog
paulsmithy83 replied to NATACC's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Soon as I read that I though gotta be a courser and gotta own saluki x's lol Op for me it's a dog that doesn't know how to fail, don't matter how much it's in favour of the quarry the dog always pulls it out the bag. Catch rate is also a massive thing for me -
Do you find it more satisfying catching the 1 with the dog or the 6 with the nets. for me a love the thrill of the chase hence why I own lurchers.

What the White thing and black one, tell the other alsation/grey looks very similar build to a malinios
