    I would either put a felt roof on like said or put a real slate roof on cheap as if you do it urself. As there breeze block I wud insulate it as concrete 1 dont keep no heat in, winter be like a chiller box even with a heat lamp. Cheap to do again can get whole role of insulation stuff for £20 be enough to do them and help keep em warmer

    Not bred for brains? The saluki or highly saluki saturated dogs are far from brain dead.     Seen some really good ones but also seen one that has to be the worse of any type I've seen in the field, all owned by the same bloke I lost count the amount of times it jacked from lack of heart. Me and my mate used to be in stitches the excuses he used to make.

Thats what they were bred for originally, they are still widely used for both earth work and above ground hunting (mainly tracking wounded game or driving boar etc to guns), but now are mainly reffered to as 'Teckles'.     yeh thats right, and i had another bullx same way bred 3/8 bull 5/8 grey, and went the same but died , went over but never came round.Vet said some times the genes of the 2 breeds dont gell right, they( over heat) and carnt get oxgen quick enough to the brain and it kills them.I know of few bullxs that went the same, where as you could still get a big dog say 70-80lb x deerhoundx ,gsd x colliex and it dont happen, Had Blaze who was 3/8 collie 5/8 grey same size as what Tod was , but could run all night all fed the same and all were fit to do there job,Its the genes as my vet said so

    Why is this? i watched a program on TV year's ago and the Husky's they use over here for pulling sled's with wheel's on..have soft pad's for the snow and the hard surface's over here give them sore feet. Bred to run on snow and ice if anyone thinks ice is soft to run on take your shoes off when said snow freezes or run on the ice feet will be in bits. Also they arnt just used in snow ova there get used on trails in summer months to with them bike and rocky ground ova there just as bad as here.     Floyd she is my brother in laws its a Siberian husky x malamute first x Has no running dog blood in her at all but we bred her now to a grey she does really well loads of great attributes her flaw is her speed and at a dig she can get abit inpatient but when it comes for her to step up she does well I tell ya that. she does all aspects of Lurcher work.     Just for you millet no challenges or owt but il show you one if you want just a walk out hitting abit of quarry make your own mind up then by seeing one. Works the lamp, retrieves, jumps, loves teeth soft with ferrets, works at the end of the dig and most of all very bidable so what ever setting you want fella. Least u can see one that aint been held back by its owners
