I had an experience many years ago with some lowlife robbing stuff from back garden went looking for a good collie pup and came across a collie in pup [only used for cattle] farmer reassured me this bitch had the heart of a lion and was really good at guarding farm at night -pups were born me and mate got one each -farmer didn't lie lads these 2 pups turned into fantastic guard dogs but also great family pets they just knew when to become guard dogs and when not too -I trained mine [moss] to shake on command and it paid off one day as I took him to work with me [gardener] some t

if you dont whistle train it [just let it go & learn along side terriers] im afraid you may be dissapointed & definetly frustrated with the springer mate -once they on a scent only the whistle will bring it back you will end up searching high & low for your dog and more than likely lose it they have enormous prey drive -my two are not allowed to venture to far ahead of me because it only takes a few seconds and they would dissapear on a scent and be too far away to hear the whistle -hope this helps you a bit

I understand rivalry, but Max seems obsessed ! He goes on more about Newcastle than he does Sunderland ! For the life of me I can't understand why people pay, what, £40/60 to watch the dross served up these days at St James and SoL, let alone get excited by what's happening a rival club. I was at the last Derby game, and to be honest, I didn't see any hatred. Rivalry, yes, but hatred no. I posted before about having a drink with Sunderland supporters after the game, in Newcastle. Something that would have been unheard of years back. i agree on this last "derby" brigzy but i do think the kin
