  3. not the best picture lads -willow warbler with 6-7 eggs in it
  4. lovely little reed bunting found this evening
  5. no signs from scotchcorner so got lost- few mates had same trouble -show was a let down good lurcher &terrier turn out as usual
  6. your bread & butter is in grass cutting alone I have 100 gardens to do on a fortnightly basis small[stampsized] gardens £5 [you will be surprised how much these bring in] £10 for back n front -get a good quality mower Honda or a Viking -5hp or more extras are hedges weeding etc -but if you can get enough grass only stay clear of weeding [too time consuming] 20yrs experience

  9. I was ferreting on outskirts of a golf course many years ago and a shellduck flew out into the net! followed by a bemused ferret lol [bird was released un harmed] and probably had a nest down hole

  11. one of 7 linnets I found tonight in gorse bushes on an old pit heap
  12. I reckon there both meadow pipits but them bottom ones look a bit green tainted mate-billy
  13. another meadow pipit found this evening
  14. look like some type of warbler sedge warbler /garden warbler [ bottom one] top one looks like a meadow pipit [ive just found one and very similar] are these in uk ?

  18. Good call poor mistle thrushes around here just keep getting robbed by bandits sadly song thrushes are becoming scarce
  19. 1st is song thrush 2nd jackdaw? 3rd mistle thrush?
  20. all you need for beating is your best waterproofs as for the shooting side I wouldn't know I just beat but a mobile phone is a must because most toffs are on their phones when birds go past them lol
  21. locl farmer phoned to let me and mate know that feral numbers were getting too high ,so of we went and dropped the numbers for him
  22. a nice little dunnocks nest tucked amongst the gorse
  23. this Geordie is staying ENGLISH!
