  10. It sounds like the toe is giving the dog pain after work, so amputation may be the only option, IF it is a toe which can be removed.
  11. Why do they not update the photos more often. On my street view it says 2009, but it is at least 5-6yrs ago. I can tell by the garden and lack of chickens.

  13. I asked if the toe still appeared swollen, as once it is set hard there is nothing that can be done i am afraid. But the running dog vet will be able to give you an indication if it is a toe suitable for amputation If you cant go down the amputation route, you can still work the dog. It really depends upon how much work you want the dog for. If you are going out once or twice per week than there is no reason why the dog cannot still work.   14. From my experience there is no cure other than amputation Sam, and that option is also dependant upon which toe, sorry. Many pet vets do not realise the stresses and strains involved in chasing rabbits on a dogs body, hence him being ok with general toning and exercise.

  17. I got 2 old push chair wheels attached to the base of mine at one end, and handles at the other, so i could lift and tilt to move them around freely. Some good solid weld mesh on the floor and perhaps angled steel stuff (dont know its name ) up the frame work of the run to stop anything chewing through the wood. If you put a perch in the run they can get up out the way of the mesh if they need, plus you can let them out for a free roam around the days you are with them.
