    I've always fed pups mainly raw with a good quality complete puppy food soaked and mixed in (Eukanuba), plus scraps, tinned, cooked. Feed at least 3 times per day when they are small, and twice a day till they stop growing. I believe in a good variety whilst growing to stop the dogs getting fussy tummies when older. And so i know i've covered all the bases.

    No. In the woods opposite my house about 10pm last night. It was the only bird singing. Would repeat a tune for about 4 times, then a different tune for another 3 or 4 repetitions, then a different one and so on. Had a repertoire of at least 5-6 different tunes/noises. Very loud, very clear.

    Aye but they still get them which was my point I also never see evidence of fleas here, do my dogs routinely, but i am very allergic to flea bites. So i know if/when i get them. If i wasn't allergic to the bites i would probably think i never got them either. All wild animals have fleas, our dogs come into contact with wild animals, or at the very least go into places wild animals are, so they will always be picking up fleas to some degree.     I have to still disagree Sky. Everyone who keeps fowl in any type of housing, already have an established problem of some degree. You simply cannot have one without the other. All you can do is try to keep on top of it, so they do not become a threat to the birds. It is like when you hear people who say their dogs NEVER have fleas. Either their dogs like in some sort of bubble and never leave the house or the owners simply do not see flea evidence, but as we know, dogs do get fleas. I know i keep banging on about it, but DE is NOT good enough to control mites. It is just another tool in th

    Perhaps the reason why i and other poultry breeders do not rate DE is the type of chickens we breed. Because they are so tiny they succumb to red mite, whereas on a bigger bird the same amount of mite would not be a problem, on Serama the mites will literally kill them overnight. Hence us paying probably more attention to mites than your average poultry keeper, and hence us knowing DE does not work, it may lessen the population by a small amount, but is not good enough used alone to combat mites

    I gave similar feedback last year Romany, they phoned me up when i had won a raffle prize. I ended up going home at 4pm and they were not even half way through the classes. They did brilliantly this year cheers moll , i judged myself last year , canna disregard any owner who's paying for their dog to be judged , thats why it took so long , sunny weather attracts more people and dogs Definitely Denned, probably why they put more on this year

    The excitability is the bull Scot, they can drive you up the wall, Rudie here literally screams, whole body shakes, when he thinks he is going out. But the aggression is not imo. Even when really driven and worked up, they may go fixed eye and stone deaf, but never turn as you have described.

    Cannot possibly work for worms. It is only a fossilised algae, which 'helps' with some pests by dehydrating the bodies. In a moist environment like the gut it would not work at all. And tbh it is limited for most other pests also. A waste of money imo.
