  1. Makes perfect sense, and that is what makes us hold on and on for hope. But i try to make myself remember that they don't show suffering the way us weak humans do. From prior problems i established later my bitch had probably had a brain tumour for over a year prior to the 2nd mass showing. She was ratting only a month before she was pts. Is the food she vomits digested or undigested?
  2. If you think it is bad with dogs, you wanna try selling chickens. It is getting to the point i would rather cull healthy stock than advertise it!
  3. Really feel for you i do. Helpless doesn't even come close, does it. Vets are not infallible and do not always know the answer, must be a hard job to do. The bitch i mentioned, was found to have a mass later on, nothing picked up with tests prior. I'm lucky that i have a good relationship with my vet, and he sorta talked me into letting her go, something i would not have thought about myself as she was THE dog. She went at home eating best steak mince from my hand, oblivious to anything the vet was doing, the last thing on her mind was the gob full of steak with more to come.....a brilli
  4. Anyone else blubbing like a big girl, he's got me in bits
  5. Congratulations Federer, commiserations Murray.
  6. I know, but at least we have had hope, he is the nearest we have been to winning for a very long time
  7. .....I dont know much about tennis..............but my guess is the fact Murray is playing in a Wimbledon final suggests he knows what he,s doing..... id rest easy mate I suppose.... But the service thing really gets me. Now i know you cant get it in everytime but it looks to me like he struggles with a first serve, then his second serve is like a wee girl hitting it... I suppose i'm likeing it to a striker who cant score goals, a darts player who struggles to hit the doubles or a golfer who cant putt. They might all do well but they'll never be the best... Must be much more c
  8. Totally brilliant :clapper: and I just read his life story: how he couldn't play tennis in his prime because the game had been banned in Iran, so never got to international tennis until he was a lot older. What a character! Is the book good. Does it also have his humour in it?
  9. It just looks sooo unkempt
  10. This guy used to be our highlight of Wimbledon, Mam and i used to cry with laughter http://www.dump.com/greatestentertainer/ To be able to play the fool like this you have to be really talented, he learned to play using frying pans and brooms

  12. If it is supposed to be the greatest outdoor championship tennis then doesn't putting a roof on it then make it indoor, and a totally different game if you like? And another thing whilst i'm on a roll Wouldn't you think they would keep a court back for the finals so it was nice and well kept instead of the baldy back yard they are playing on today?
  13. What's the deal with the roof. Why can they not take it off again if it stops raining?
  14. Absolutely LOVE that photo. Looks like the lurcher is winking....superb :clapper:

  19. Totally agree, and nothing wrong with being dour either, we all have different personalities But most of use use try to use a little humility, and manners when we talk to people. I cant stand spoiled self centred brats whether they be children, dogs or grown men playing tennis
  20. Watched the semi final yesterday at my mothers house. I used to always watch Wimbledon with her, some great characters. My mother commented that Murray was 'very dour'. But omg i could not believe what a horrible self centred prick Murray is, his interview after the match, if the commentator asked him anything about his opponent he was not interested in answering. Then when asked about putting his Mam & Dad through stress (A light hearted comment by the presenter) his reply was something along the lines of "I could not care less what they are going through, it's me who has the stress"....
  21. Chronic pancreatitis in dogs Chronic pancreatitis is usually not as severe when it is diagnosed as acute pancreatitis. However, chronic pancreatitis is usually continual and may cause irreversible damage over time. Often times, chronic pancreatitis is mistaken for another illness because it is not as severe as acute pancreatitis. Symptoms of chronic pancreatitis in dogs include: Dehydration Abdominal pain Lethargy Vomiting Loss of appetite I had a bitch with the above, although she ate and drank fine and seemed ok untill the vomiting. When you do feed the dog get her on Chappie ti
