    scars

Poor wound care can also make scars or makes them look worse than they were
  2. If i were you i would not run him again till late summer on the young novice rabbits. He is already starting to yap a bit, and it will get worse if he don't get any easy catches soon.
  3. Be a good idea to read this... http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2004/37/schedule/1 To avoid any confusion
  4. Thanks Sandy. Her symptoms started off with the sexy smell, then after a few days noticed her vulva had swollen. Then about a week later noticed her nipples had enlarged, then the mammaries, and milk production. After about 2mths of this it went away for a couple of months then returned again, got rid of it the last time with the drugs you give bitches to bring them out of season...although i am not sure if the drugs worked or if it just naturally went away as it took about 2wks to go? Been a few months since and she has the smell again...slightly, not enough to drive the dogs bonkers but eno
  5. Bullies are easy, but i found the whippet to be the easiest of all. Terriers are easier to train once they get over the 2yr old mark.
  6. When a hen roosting on the back of the settee all night seems perfectly normal....cannot understand why more people dont live like this
  7. thats ok moll what are them troopers like ive heard they are good but like a drink? Brilliant, and from what my dealer has said...good ones are rarer than hens teeth now, people trading in their old ones cannot find any other vehicle to compare now, they are either huge with big back cabs or too posh. Terrible on the juice, you literally cannot pass a garage without filling up.....don't every rose have at least one thorn Jeremy likes them, that's good enough for me
  8. Oops Sorry Hully, just read your post again...got it wrong..again Dont do any comps or challenges, cars are too valuable to me on the farm to risk them doing that kind of stuff Mind you i would LOVE to try
  9. My old battleaxe...named 'Dame Bling' Would not swop this for any other, never let me down in any situation This was 'He who must be obeyed's' ...i hated it, was not upset in the slightest when it blew up I like a 4X4 to feel like a 4X4 when driving, this one, to me, felt like driving a car. The dog's 4X4
  10. thats the one moll an niceone If the dog is line bred and not too heavy, i think it will make a good cross
  11. Fantastic photo = 4th pic down
  12. ~ If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting. ~

  13. Thanks Hully So just being picky, people should put the breed in correlation to the fraction then
  14. Sorry to hijack your thread .... When people say 5/8 3/8 bull greyhound...does that mean it is 5/8th bull and only 3/8 greyhound? Forgot to say...very smart bitch
  15. Thanks WD. I've a mucky mixture to be honest... Gloster Corona cock, Fife cock, red factor (not sure of sex) Irish fancy hen yellow with variegated patches cock....not sure what type but he has sang his little heart out all through the winter. So possibly 3 or 4 cocks with 1 or 2 hens...all housed together.
  16. First dog PTS, i had done at home, did not want her last emotion to be fear in the vets surgery. Afterwards my sis and i took her down the river to her fav place at the river side in the early hours so no-one would see us, but unfortunately we were not strong enough to dig through roots rocks etc, so we put her in the allotment, bought a lovely shrub to cover her. My next dog was killed at home, she too went to the allotment, alongside the other. One young bitch was already in the vets, very poorly and she had to be PTS. So off i went into the vets armed with all her favourite treats...day o
  17. She has some condition which means she does not empty her gut properly, no idea what caused it, fine and dandy one day, unable to get out of her bed the next. She has been fed predominantly raw all her life, but i do also give the odd tinned meat, rarely dry, and occasionally cooked meat with pasta/rice. Her health has not been so good of late, has a different condition which the vets are at a loss for the cause.....smells like she is in season/attracting males, brown discharge, swollen mammaries producing milk...she has been speyed for 10yrs! All tests have been clear/negative.
  18. Thank you lads. Ill get some grass and moss in now to dry out, keep some of the next roe fur. Would hanging it around the aviary do? Don't want to put it on the ground for the hens to mess up. Is there any special diet if/when i get chicks.
