  1. When filling the car up with fuel, i can't have a Zero in the final total. Sometimes iv'e not filled it right up just so i avoid a Zero.
  2. Anywhere in the Scottish Highlands. With Tipton a close second.
  3. If past history is anything to go by, they'll be lucky to reach the final.........
  4. never mate, thats solely an award to rfyl I'd heard the Trophy's already been named after him.
  5. Was in Florida on holiday once when it landed, middle of the night. Woke us all up with the sonic BOOOOOOOOOM. Been to Kennedy too, but found it a bit slow, the best bit for us was feeding the Turtles and Aligators near the Memorial with some cookies we had.
  6. I overtook a women on the motorway the other day, she still had her drivers side wing mirror folded in. How the fu*k did she get on the motorway ?? A few years ago was going to the draw of a fishing match, very early in the morning. Nothing on the road other than me and one other car. I came up behind the car, it was travelling in the middle lane, i moved over to get behind him/her, they pulled over to the left hand lane to let me overtake, then when i'd passed the car they pulled back into the middle lane.
  7. They must all be the same family, cos they,ve all got Rooney printed on the back of them.....
  8. Great pictures. Only ever seen one Red Squirrel, Scone Palace, it was walking across the driveway. Many moons ago
  9. Do you have the memory span of a Goldfish ?? I recall you calling me "Who is this Prick" on your Chinese lantern topic when i dared to dissagree with your view.. Theres been plenty of other incidences of name calling too. POT, KETTLE, BLACK.........
  10. LOL, i'm on a roll now. Seems you could add an extra pin yourself so the line pick up was faster. Googled it. .........And breathe. Might have a dable on e-bay myself for one.
  11. Found this, it explains the backwind bit. 501 only it seems. Mine was a 506, hence why i took it to bits. http://www.maggotdrowning.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=13167 Somewhere selling what you need too. http://jimsreelshop.co.uk/shop/article_5579/5579-Anti-reverse-dog.html .....And a picture.
  12. Isn't "Password" the most commonest used password of all ?? BTW, i don't use password.
  13. Wiped the side plate off Wilf and all looks ok! prbably do with Re-greasing apart from that thankfully things look ok Jasp cheers for the info Arch . out of interest should the drag still work if the anti reverse has been removed? I can totaly remove the drag nob in the middle of the handle and it still doesn't slip. One other thing! this reel has two line pickups and I'm sure the old 501 I had only had one? atb Jasp If i remember correctly, it was a long time ago. The clutch on the ABU used to work by backwinding 1/2 a turn so the gears stopped on the piece of m
  14. So, just using "Password" won't do then.........
  15. Take your pick........ BTW, those wires are live.
  16. I took the anti-reverse out of my old ABU. It was a little peice of metal right at the back of the gears. If the reel winds both ways ok, then i wouldn't worry. Iv'e never used the clutch on a reel in my fishing career, much prefering to backwind. All my Shimano's have the clutch tightend right up. But thats just me. Not to sure how the ABU drag worked any way. If the guy you bought it off removed the backwind, then i doubt he would have the peice you need anyway. Probably chucked it like i did. Best of luck with it and tight lines. Arch.
  17. Looks like a worktop.........
  18. Was out late last night and met an owner with a Lurcher, he was called Ned. Quite liked that name.
  19. No, sorry, can't see the attraction.
  20. Your local leisure centre will want around 12 pound per hour for the hire of a tennis court. It costs virtually nothing to play football.....it costs virtually nothing to box........pretty self explannatory really if your 2 young 12 year old boys out for an aftenoon of sport......but potentially they could well have a talent for playing tennis. All sport should be easily accessible to all kids in any area in my opinion. spot on.... i seem to remember reading somwere that our kids in secondry school do about 2 hours of sport a week excluding after school clubs,,, i think im right
  21. Correct, although like Carlsberg, probably the best team plays very near me.
  22. Err, excuse me, ...........Rugby Football
  23. I use barbed when/where allowed. You get better bait presentation with barbless though, rarely bursting a Maggot with one. But try ledgering a Worm with a barbless
  24. I'd like to see Haye win because he's British, but i wish he would shut the fu*k up...........
