  18. my old mate buster kept the beddy types for 30 years he also always had a big dog for hares mainly 3/4 grey 1/4 deerhound. seen some good beddy types over the years real sharp dogs ideal for the mooching game. thats the road i will be going down. good luck with your young dog.

The dam to him was a bitch called peaches from the linden eland line i believe. a very hardy tough dog he had some knocks but came out ok. i never bred from him to be honest ive never bred from any bitch ive had or used a dog ive had at stud. in the nineties onwards i saw the light in my opinion saluki lurcher cross collie lurcher this type suited me fine only my opinion. had a few of these one very good bitch. my last bitch died 3 years ago and has not been replaced. had a few problems to deal with regarding my wifes health. hope fully next year i will get a pup in fingers crossed. i have a

Too be honest juckler i heard hard to train wilful etc about the beardy cross but mine was the only one ive had contact with.He took a bit of time to mature but was easy to train and had a bomb proof temperament. a strong dog there was no picking and choosing his runs with this dog. he always gave his best as i said not a world beater but he put the effort in thats what i liked about him. have good memories of the dog. he was bred from a big coursing bitch a lovely animal.
  22. Chuck arrowsmiths rabbiting collie the sire to your bitch juckler. i heard some decent dogs came out of chuckles. dave sleight used him in his collie lurcher line back in the day.
