    You've been getting out to much FB, it's common knowledge mate, you just missed it. Every single one of my dogs are done, I can't see what the fuss is about. Even if you don't want them in your name there's no need to send off the paperwork that comes with the chip and no need to prove who you are when you get them done.

    I know, but when you've got the actual dog with it's chip and docking cert in your pedigree folders then I'm sure they'd take note. It would be a massive circumstantial piece of evidence but they never took any.

    The only people that will bother will be the law abiding. Interestingly when I had a raid a couple of years ago the only thing they never asked about were the terriers chips ! On their seizure list they wanted things such as proof of ownership, surely the dogs chips and docking certificate would be on the top of their agenda ?

    The trouble with even a guaranteed fox only dog when it's good at it's job is you'd still be guilty of disturbing a badger sette. The one you had sounds like a gem, the perfect dog to mooch about with.
