  1. I use them in my falcon, they do the job. They're shallow and don't deform easily so there's not many mis-shapen ones to a tin. give them a wash with warm water and washing up liquid, rinse them off and give them a light coating of lube/WD40, jobs a good un.
  2. I think Bisley magnums are one of the heaviest pellets about. my mate uses them in .177 through his HW97.
  3. nice. Hows your mate been pre-feeding them?
  4. My permission is miles away, so the lot has to come, all my wet weather gear, pump for re-filling, a load of grub in case my mates cupboards are empty, flask of tea blah blah blah. That said though, i've also been out with nowt but my rifle, ammo, tarp, mat, kipping bag and campstove for 5 days.
  5. just got this message on facebook: "Please share the page with your friends as this will help secure its future on Facebook and will also help it get found in the Google search engines Many thanks" http://www.(!64.56:886/pages/John-Bowketts-Official-Fan-page/178352388876311 Darren.
  6. my mates recently got his HW97KT back from steve pope at V-mach and its also very good, all the internals are now very quiet and controlled on firing. even I got a 1cm grouping at 25-30 yards and its been a long time since I shot a big heavy springer!
  7. weihrauch HW 35 or HW 25 i think are junior rifles. SMK also do cheapo junior rifles as well.
  8. http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews-all-253387.html these are the only reviews i've found. they do look like very nice guns though.
  9. the guy at all guns discounted would only give me 100 quid for my TX 200HC that only needed the cocking shoe replacing, and it had easily more than 100 quids worth of scope on it too
  10. there's been a couple of new 'uns that have caught my eye in the for sale section. time will tell....
  11. do you reckon a multishot conversion from a similar breached gun would work? i was looking at some at one stage but didnt want to pay the large money for an experiment when i didnt really need a multishot as you get used to reloading quicker anyway. how much did you manage to get your prairie for? both of ya http://www.erifle.co...015422815100678 - this is going pretty cheap my mate bought the one i have for 600-650 quid i think, it was in mint condition with pump and 6-24x44 scope on it, then i bought it off him for 400 nicker mates ratesand put a more sensible scope on. i
  12. I have heard good things about the falcon accuracy plus pellets, in a few different guns. It makes sense to try them in your falcon!
  13. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, which i'm more than willing to accept, but can you not just buy a kit or have your current rapid tuned/fiddled with to get it FAC rated?
  14. It'd be nice to get a big bag once!
  15. top shooting, looks like a nice permission too can't wait fpr the vids.
  16. i think i'd be up for it, depending on train/bus fare! it was only the price of travel that made getting to the last meet impossible. only just fluked a permission through a mate though so i can't really offer any space in sheff.
  17. i love the look of these rifles, that stock looks "art deco"!
  18. any of the carbine falcons wtth skeleton stocks, if you like that kind of thing. Fn 12/Fn19/prairies etc.
  19. lovin that "bipod" sounds like a nice productive permission you've got there better luck next time with the photo mate! the same happened to me, a horse came and started eating the patch of dock leaves i was hiding behind, that would have made a quality photo, if i didn't have to faff around with the camera phone. atb, darren.
  20. I didn't particularly like the cocking method of the ultra, and it was heavier than the falcon. I've noticed there's a lot of super 10's and old rapids coming up for sale at decent prices recently, if i had to buy another pre-charge, i'd definitely consider having one. for about 300 quid you cant really go wrong. good luck with the search anyway mate.
  21. im obviously biased, but if your after lightweight carbines, the falcon range is perfect and they offer skeleton stocked versions of all their rifles. i've got what folk on here refer to as noodle arms and trekking around with my rifle is no strain at all (im now considering piling lamping gear on it!), and its very short and pointable. It was only an inch longer than my friends BSA ultra (including silencers) and i think the shot count may be more than the ultra too. As said before, other solutions would be the air arms S200 and S410 TDR or the BSA ultra.
