  1. nice bag mate the ONLY crow i ever managed to shoot somehow disappeared!! was one of the best shots i ever made as well. well done taking yours mate. the steep angles you need to consider when they're right at the top of trees makes for very challenging shots i think.
  2. just found out they sell one thats probably the right length without any modding. Bugger http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Tactical-Rifle-Sling-W-Elastic-Extension-Cord-/110665850099?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c432dcf3#ht_5934wt_1139
  3. nice, nice. love the matt finish to the stock, i wish mine was walnut. i put one of these slings on mine, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Powerful-3-Pt-Tactical-Israeli-Army-Khaki-Rifle-Sling-/110667807096?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c450b978 i had to extend it a little bit with a short piece of old webbing but its a very versatile piece of kit.
  4. man i would rip your hand off for that if i had the money, i fell in love with my mates stingray. good luck with the sale mate. anyone reading this, the stingrays are very good rifles and this is a silly price for one, grab yourself a bargain
  5. excellent write up. got me right in the mood for a two dayer out camping with my mate. always good to read about some top shots for inspiration. ATB Darren.
  6. aaah, the BAM 40! that was my first rifle. till some burgled my house and nicked it.
  7. you've got a result there mate. check this place out http://falconowners.myfastforum.org/index.php
  8. i had one in .177 and it would hit whatever i pointed it at, which wasn't a lot cos after 2 hours of walking around with it my leading arm just couldn't hold it on target steady enough for long enough. if you do a lot of static, prone hunting you'll probably get the best out of it, but i wouldn't suggest doing a bi-athlon with it unless your built like a brick shithouse!
  9. I wish someone would sell me a weihrauch for quid! take his hand off mate.
  10. cant beat a bit of fresh! happy eating mate.
  11. Sounds like a top day out good going chaps. Can i just ask though Si is there a reason why you zero at 30m with a mil-dots holdover instead of at, say 25m on the crosshairs? is it just personal preference or is there a practical reason behind it
  12. Nice one. the only hare i ever shot was about 15 metres away!
  13. good goin guys. there's a load of nuisance crisp packets round back of my house you can clear for me if you like! similarly, I thought I had a gift of a shot at a squirrel hanging off a branch on friday, shot it and nothing I thought it must've been lights out instantly and it was dead, still dangling from its branch. upon further inspection it was just a dangling squirrel shaped bit of tree?? SP for the write up & pic.
  14. I think all those rifles/pistols that cost less than a giro should be banned from sale.
  15. Fing disgusting. "Bring back Corpral and Capital Punishment and National Service then watch what happens" couldn't agree more.

  17. any chance of the vid being put back on? (i cant afford the dvd!)
  18. yeah, i had wondered how much of a mission it would be. I cant imagine the council ok'ing it, even if people on the surrounding plots did.
  19. Hi all. our lasses allotment's got rabbit crap on it and I'm wondering about the legality of shooting on it? she rents it off the council so would i need their permission, or would just hers do? any advice welcome. if it turns out its ok i think i'll canvas the entire allotment to see if any of the other plot owners have rabbit problems, im sure its rife with rats as well.
  20. Funny that, i were just looking at some sony handycam things today, wondering which were the best for attaching to scopes.
