One of my holiday park jobs was like this, there is an artificial bank, it screams to be ferreted, all the holes well padded etc, you net it up and hey presto, zilch. Go there at night and you see the rabbits travel through it on their way across to the field behind in the nice thick blackthorn hedge. Rabbits arent daft, they know that they are vunerable in such open easily accessable buries.

We all think it and we all know it, but no one can do anything about it, the trouble is, it is the great unwashed and the unwanted who voted the scum in and they will do it again, after all it is a win win situation for them. It has been said before on here Enoch Powell was not a crank, he was a prophet. The streets will indeed run with blood, and it will not be a long wait unless a government with values and balls get in soon. SO THATS IT THEN WERE ALL FECKED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought it sounded a interesting idea because i felt it would be a safe alternative for domestics, trouble is i have not found a rat that was retarded enough to stick it,s head in, gave it a fair trial but now it is destined to gather dust in the back of the trap shed, perhaps a ferret took a whizz on it.

Its ok MC i believe you on the weight of the pike, some people have problems judging things, FPO is one of them, she thinks a Bowyers sausage is 9", i havent the heart to correct her.

Adjust the Dufffus correctly and set correctly and it delivers also.

Blimey, havent fished Fly cellars for years, 7 to be exact. Some reasonable fishing to be had up at mother ivy,s at this time of year, but you got to fight your way through the doggies. Regards MT.

Barretine environmental, same price etc, but as Rolfe says you will need proof of training. Regards MT.

Have not made any for about two years, but when i do, it is with the full mash, where you do not use extracts or sugar, it is instead done only using grain and hops, to do a full mash making 5 gallons of top quality real ale takes me about 7 hours, so you want a wet day for this job, after that it takes about 4/5 weeks of fermentation and clearing, then a couple of weeks of maturation in bottle or keg. The ingredients to make 5 gallons costs me around £10, so the equivilent of 4 pints in the pub, leaving me with the other 36 pints for nothing other than my time. The only thing i will say th

Now you know you wont find one of these OTC as they have all been buried or destroyed in the appropriate manner. -
Personally i think you may get more help and be taken a little more seriously if you change your name, it is really rather unsuitable for a genuine country sports enthusiast, smacks more of a stupid young chav who has no respect for their chosen quarry. Just an observation. Regards MT.

What a load of crap, do you get a jcb to dig the crater to put them in aswell, ,Ian, even if they came into the country they would have to be approved by DEFRA for use against moles. Regards MT.

moving on to a proper job , rabbit trapper on a moorland estate, regular wage , no chasing up slow payers and no extortionate bills and its what i want to do,got a very keen young lad buying my buisness Fair play, i can understand completley, personally i think now is a good time to sell up, wont be long and every other person is going to be a pestie, already down here the competition is getting felt, as i said before everyone under cutting prices just to get work. Good luck and best wishes.

Not as heavy as this one, but not dissimular in appearance to the Fenn "Loop" type one that was brought out back in the mid eighties if my mind serves me correctly.

Hi Moley..........yes we get the same muppets around here doing wasps for nowt..........but they usually can't do the ones that need a bit of thinking about. What would happen if an accident happened though?.........they certainly would't be insured thats for sure. Rolfe. Simple Rolfe, they would get fu...d every which way, no insurance, training, usually improper use of pesticides, but that doesnt enter the chancers mind, oh forgot to mention inland revenue as well. Last season i heard of a beauty, my customer told me about their friend who had a problem with a swarm in the chimne

The going rate used to be £45 down here but the last year or so every other bugger has started becoming part time pesters, they are all so desperate scratching for work that some of them are quoting £25, feck me i wouldnt even start the truck up for that let alone travel 20-30 miles, thats the problem with this industry, to many numpties trying to make a quick buck. There is even a taxi driver who says he is a pesty, when people ring him for a quote for moles he says when he is in their area he will drop off two traps and tell them how to place them, takes their money and says he will come b

How much? You know me D, i couldnt give it up, its my baby, and i love the money too much. However, if you know anyone with 55K burning a hole in their pocket, i would consider setting up shop in another territory.

Rural pest controler and part time gamekeeper, maybe looking to change though, it is SO last year !!!!!. Only joking, unless one of you lot who want to change jobs, would like to buy a up and running business ?.

Personally i think ignorance is bliss, if the customer dont ask i dont tell, i prefer to live catch, nothing worse than going to check tunnels etc and finding the customer upset at "THEIR" pheasant or whatever has met an untimley demise, before you all start blathering on about restricting access etc etc, accidents still occasionaly happen, personally i feel that as a professional, you ,as the law states use the safest method to do the job effectivley. I know that is not exactly the wording, but if you are in the business, and know the law you will know what i am on about. Regards MT.
