Edited to say maybe it was steves scope (memory fails me again)
  7. Mill dots are the way forward, I have used duplex befor but wouldent consider getting another one anytime soon having seen the advantages and accuracy, but at the end of the day shooting shooting with a duplex you are still using mill dot principles just in your head not your reticle, if you get that down to a tee then that is a skill in its own right. ( I Doubt id ever manage it ) Si, I knew you were joking mate Just waiding in with my 2p peices. .atb. .ste.
  8. Hey si as you have said yourself, "if it works for you" I have found myself moving away from a target to a known zero using a duplex scope lol, I dident work out hold over/under bk then just used to move aroun myself to suit lol .atb. .ste. Back a bit, forward a bit, . . . . . . . . . WHACK! Should have seen me with windage ha ha

  11. Hey si, how would one go about using this high tech wizzardry? Lazer zero'd for 20yds scope for 35yards then urse those poi points to work out shot placement??? Im having a stab in the dark mate lol .atb. .ste.

  17. I can second that I have a set on my springer, hawke sport hd 4x32 is the full name of the ones I own and they are good glass for the price, not mutch more than a tenner if I remember with mounts, .atb. .ste.
  18. Have you considerd just using open sights I have every faith in open sights up to 25yds, they are also great for the one that jumps out right by your feet and aquire the target quicker in my opinion, give the opens a try atleast I think you wil be surprised ( if you arnt already shooting with opens that is) .atb mate. .ste.
  19. Hows it going ooop there lads, hows davy's snoring?? Hope your having a bit less wind and a couple more bunnys tonite lads. .atb. .ste.
  20. millsy Being a shotgun shooter yourself I am surprised at this thread, as I kno on the ocasions I have been out with a shottie iv found myself having to break more necks than when out with the air rifle and if it wansnt from the quary falling from height im sure there would have been a few more. Not trying to fuel the fire just my opinion and trying to put things into perspective a little. I do have to admit tho I am not the best with a shottie lol As long as everyone is doing there best for humane dispatches weather killed outright or winged and dispached a.s.a.p then its o.k with me as l
  21. Im pretty sure its about £90 for the reg, £130 for reg and action, roughly, feel free to correct that info anyone. .atb. .ste.
  22. Sory competitions, prob stil spelt wrong lol
  23. I sense some heated cometitions to come .atb. .ste.
  24. If I was paying I would expect the quary to be stocked as with game birds and fisheries, Pest controll is mutualy benificial where both parties gain, I think paying will tip the scales to far in land owners favor. So a no from me ( a bottle at crimbo is no problem tho ) A mixed bag of Intresting views .atb. .ste.
