  2. Cheers nangell, I will be having a look at them. Phantom, with the filters what sieze do you use? And do you pull them through sideways or inline, I was thinking maybe hair rig it (without the hook) Also do you use them dry or with a bit of oil? Never cleaned a barrel before sory. .atb gents. .ste.

  10. Cheers andy nice one mate, evidence there to proove a pull through works better aswel, I thaught the foam would work well as we use the same method for cleaning gas pipelines before installation, oversized diameter piece of foam then buid up the pressure behind it to punch it through (slightly larger scale). Pull through it is then .atb. .ste.
  11. Lol, I hope that is going to make an appearance at the meet, where would you put your pellets tho??? .atb. .ste.
  12. I bet one of them was wearing some pellet style cuff links and im sure I can just see the outline of davys shooting vest underneath, Congratulations on the wedding. .atb. .ste.
  13. Does anyone use or has used those foam pellets for cleaning there barrel? Reason being im going to try a few different pellets and have been informed that it is better to clean out and re lead before guageing the accuracy with a new pellet and I want to save time and I dont have a cleaning kit. Are they worth bothering with or should I just get a pull through? Also thaught they may be a bit of fun to shoot around the house ! (JOKE) .atb. .ste.
  14. I have one they are good, altho my pressure switch is now broke , I have a white bulb but use a flip up red filter, the white is very bright, I have a quick sweep of a large area with that then flip down the filter to close in on targets. My only critisism is that the red filter is pink and makes me look like a girl. .atb. .ste.
  15. Cracking turn out, looks set to be a great weekend, has this topped last years turn out? .atb. .ste.
  16. The nikko sterling scopes I have are as clear as I could want and nikko in general have a reputation of being robust and lasting a long time, mine hold zero very well even when knocked. They do what they say on the tin. No nonsense. Some of this info is quoted from what others have said. .atb. .ste. I wouldent hesitate to snap up another set.
  17. O.k mate, yours wil be in post tomorow aswel, with note exact sieze & weight ect. Also if anyone has any bis mags in .177 and would like to try .22 superdomes or .177 aa fields 4.52, let me know. .atb. .ste.
  18. I have a deben bi pod, having now seen some of the cheeper ones in the flesh there aint mutch difference to be honest, if I baught another one I would have one from hong kong. As long as its sturdy it will do the job, With regards to height, I have the bi pod as low to the ground as possible for stability and only raise it when I have to (long grass ect.) It is nice to have the option tho in some situations I find. Hope this helps .atb. .ste.
  19. I have .177 aa field 4.52 and rws superdomes .22 happy to trade would like to try some different ones, Millsy I would also like to try the bisley mags .22 in exchange for pellets mentioned above. .cheers. Im thinking wraped up in tissue paper (unused) in an envelope with a first class stamp, will that be enough postage and protection?
  20. Cracking girl si, obviously a lot of fun to be with, The comment I made earlyer in the thread just made reference to said pictures and slipping a couple into the slide show on your new dvd (as a joke obviously) but then decided I prob dont kno either of you well enough to say that .sory. Then after I deleted said thread thaught I better clarify so that its not open to interperatation. Im sure any comment over the line would have been met with the full force of the airgunning section .atb. .ste. Ill stop digging lol
  21. I have read good things about them, stirdy construction ect. I think aa field diablo are the pellet of choise by a lot of aa owners, try a few diferent ones and see what groups best if you want to be sure, I have only used the pellets named above through my aa so can't recomend any others to try sory. .atb. .ste.
