    It was so light, still and quiet, it was definatly a sit down and wait job, we can take a couple of tarps next time, anyway it would have seemed a shame to ruin the pure white virgin snow with crimson .atb. .ste.

But as you have taken 3 rabbits, you have answerd your own question and the salesman in the shop has sold you a rifle that fit the brief you gave him. Nice one mate and happy hunting.     Oh sory the stinger, thats the one similar seize to the cree I dident read properly. Phantom you are right there are better for the cash, I have the small deben filter for my cree, dont get it, its pink and makes you look like a girl .atb. .ste.

    Hey mate, I got one, paid full price for it, absolutely brilliant lamp, more powerfull than my cree lamp by a mile (almost literaly, well not quite lol) If anything I would say maybe a little bright in some situations, Added bonus of being able to charge in car or lamp from car, Only critisim is having to lump the batt around but once you get used to it its barely noticable. There may be cheaper/maybe even better options as phantom states, but you will be happy with it mate. Mine is a deben tracer mini, I love it. .atb. .ste.

    Kids are great , when my daughter arrived I never got out for a month or so but once settled into a routine, mum and baby nackerd and in bed, daddy sneaking off into the night Then getting moaned at for being knacked and falling asleep on the sofa next day Congrats mate .ste.

    Rabbit tracks mate We saw hare tracks and fox tracks also. The hare tracks were impressive with nearly 2m jumps in places. Also it was noted that a pair of foxes were at work one walking in the others tracks then splitting of in pincer like movements around warrens then joining back up. It was all pretty intresting realy. .atb. .ste. The bigfoot got bagged last week, steve chinned him We could have lay down in the snow and waited for them to pop out again but we havent toataly lost it ! Yet!

    Iv had a problem like this with a similar torch, try dismantleing it then re assemble, it worked for me so worth a try. Also when you do this check for any damp that may have got in and dry out if so. Worth a go! (If you havent already done it that is) .atb. .ste.

    I have to say that dr bob, altho simple in design looks very well made and if I had a buddy bottle I would have one on, also a bipod mounted forward on the bottle wil be a lot easyer to hold the cross hairs on a target than one mounted further back down the stock, wont it?? .atb. .ste.

    Well done on braving it mate, unlucky on not bagging, im not sure where you stand on bagging birds at night, im pretty sure your not allowed to use artificial light to do it, but maybe by siloette like wildfowlers do, im not sure tho mate. .atb. .ste. Reading the open liscence may help clear things up.

    Great write up millsy, loving the photos good shooting, you are clearly getting on with the new rifle, and a cockrell I bet that made your day , you think perhaps it was a set challenge by the farmer to put you to the test? If so you passed with flying colours. How did you manage gaining permisson there? Looks great. .atb. .ste.
